Fit perfectly
Thought it was going to fit, because the old one taken out was a different shape, but to my surprise it fit like a glove. Going to buy a second one for my second key

Awesome product
I was about to discard on of my original remotes, but this one saved the day. You have to be very gentle and careful removing the original "mushed up" buttons from the backside as the edges that retain each button is very fragile. I used a large tweezer to tease the old button from the plastic edges and remove it completely. I then modified this part by trimming off the portion that would cover the red LED and slightly trimmed the one side to allow for the embedded chip in the original fob. Then I fully seated and was done. It works exceedingly well and I'm thrilled.

Love my new buttons
Before there was no clicking nose when you push buttons because they where so worn out & kinda showing the inside of key fob but now it's great!!

Really good choice to improve the functionality on the 97 fob
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install just takes few minutes to remove the old one. Now is noticeable the clik when any button is pressed. I strongly recommend

Made my key fob look and work like new
Item arrived quickly, was easy to install, and make my key fob look and work like new. Once a tiny piece near the roundel was trimmed off, it fit perfectly. Material feels high quality, and works well. A cheap and easy fix, with great results; recommended.

Item works well on an E46 2000 yr BMW key
The item arrived as shown in the picture. It worked perfectly for my 2000 E46 BMW 3-Series key. There are YouTube videos on how to install this and that helped to navigate the replacement process. Overall happy with the product.
