With HP you get guaranteed quality
I tried third-party (cheaper in price) but some of the cartridges did not work. I know HP monitors what you use in their machines - a reality of being connected to the internet for wireless printing - but the upside of staying with HP products is consistent quality. Higher price but worth it for the trusted quality.
