We purchased this backpack for the current school year. My 3rd grader has been using the backpack and lunchbox since August (8+ months now). There have been no tears or holes; even in the webbing of the side pockets that hold water bottles. The lunchbox has gone through the wash a few times and is in like new condition.We will be purchasing another one for the next school year.

The backpack is a little small. My son needs a bigger bag and this one will not work for a middle school kid!

When I ordered this, I wasn’t sure what to expect. For the price, it seemed worth it to try. My kid wanted checkered, but didn’t want the Vans version because those were not very functional- no extra pockets or anything and way more expensive. We love this set! The backpack is a great size, fitting binders and books easily, but still not too bulky when full. It’s durable enough to hold all the things without tearing or feeling flimsy. The second zipper is great for holding a laptop, just make sure it’s in a thin sleeve for protection. The accessories are a bonus! But I LOVE the lunch bag. It’s fully insulated and holds plenty of food. This was a great buy!

It was bought for my son to start his next year at high school. He loves the bag it’s a great size. The pencil case is tiny. Seems to be very sturdy -time will tell if it holds up to the rough and tumble of boys throwing bags down etc.
