I absolutely love this curl custard from Aunt Jackie's. I have very long, thick curly hair that gets frizzy at times. I use this custard along with a curl mousse for curl definition and control. It also smells so good! A little goes a long way! This product defines, softens, adds shine and tames frizz. It weighs my hair down a bit (in a good way) to control my curls more. My husband uses this cream every day and I believe it has a very nice smell! However, it does have a very thick texture that can be difficult to work in some times. There have been times I have had to help spot check my husband's hair to make sure it is totally blended in.I do not think this product is as moisturizing as products my husband has used in the past. His curls come out more "crisp" instead of soft. Because of this it has great hold, but the effect on his hair is that it is definitely noticeable that he has product in his curls. It performs well for most of the day, though his curls will become "frizzy" again if it is humid enough. I have not seen flaking in his hair.

And sheesh, there is no beating the price on this. It's a big container! Very impressed with the value and the results.

The product is ok. It left my hair feeling moisturized, but it didn't define my curls, especially once the product dried. I decided to add my handy dandy extreme gel that defines my curls to the tea (best product). I was left with the worst residue I ever had. Even after I washed my hair, I still had white clumps/flakes in my hair.
