Very obvious that these guys are podcasters no writers. Prose is mediocre and generally stilted. Illustrations are fantastic. This isn’t the worst book ever but it’s not well written and it’s fairly uninformative for those already versed in true crime. Very much a general overlay of a few heavy hitters. Worth buying for the awesome illustrations and I do like the podcast but hope for better writing in the future

This book will teach me so many things I can use to terrorize my friends with while going stag to summer weddings. So many new conversation topics and tidbits of information while practicing my knots. Something I can use in teaching the children of tomorrow, today.A masterpiece that dwarfs those of LRH and glistens with the sacred teachings of our LastPod masters.Also very well drawn illustrations and layouts. Well worded and delightful. Must read in every book club.

I ordered this book the moment it became available, it felt like forever, but it finally made it!It's a fantastic tome of true crime knowledge, illustrated excellently, and quite funny to boot.I've already burned through a hundred pages of it in one sitting. Let's just say that the humor is a good tension breaker from THE SHEER UNADULTERATED HORROR, that is contained here within.If you enjoy some humorous terror, dripping with heavily researched information THIS IS THE BOOK... THE LAST BOOK FOR YOU!

I am already obsessed with this book. It's so much larger and thicker than I was expecting, with glossy pages and glorious illustrations! It's written exactly in the style of their podcast, with interjections from Henry and Ben peppered throughout the info. I could not recommend this book enough! The info is top notch, as per usual. I ordered this book recently even though I'm supposed to get a signed copy at their book tour because I couldn't risk waiting even one extra day before I had this bad boy in my hands! Couldn't be more excited. BUY THIS BOOK!!!!

Quick word on Amazon - great delivery service.The brilliant Parks, the endearing Kissel, and the infuriatingly funny Zebrowski manage to transfer their superb podcast conversations to the printed press. Never exploitative or dismissive, this is a superb dismantling of the pedestals these pathetic and brutal murderers built for themselves. Fantastic artwork and a refreshing tone that is both informative and at times uncomfortably truthful.It’s a testament to everyone involved with TLPotL that this is such a funny and sincerely grave discussion of some of the most damaged minds in living history.I’m very aware that this reads like a paid-for review, and if anyone at TLPotL wants to offer me hard cash please DM me.

The book is written as the podcast is presented - Marcus takes on the subject matter whilst Henry and Ben chime in every so often with a witty comment.If you don't listen to the podcast and don't know who Henry/Ben are, you'll be wondering who the heck these guys are who keep interrupting the story!

This is a must read for both fans of the podcast or true crime in general. The research is very conscise (they even uncover new info about Ed Gein's father.) The horrific details of the crimes are described, then when things get too heavy, humour is employed to make you laugh. Each section also has some fun illustrations. A perfect mixture of dark horrific serial killer stories, comedic bits and colourful artwork.

Been following the pod for years and jumped at the chance to support the guys. The book was entertaining, the artwork is spectacular and I hope they write more collaborating with the artist.megustalations

Factual and entertaining, this is a fantastic read from page 1. A must for any fans of The Last Podcast On The Left and for anyone interested in the most vile true crime. Funny, informative and respectful of the victims over all.
