Used to put kayak racks on 2016 Jeep Patriot. Fit perfect and went on easy enough. Could very a little sturdier but is strong enough for two kayaks.

These fit perfectly on my 2016 Patriot! They were a little difficult to install at first, but now it is easy. I use it to haul my kayaks. I put 2 up top and it is on the heavier side for the rack but it handles it well.

Imma start by saying I did not notice any whistling. The bars are fairly quiet even passing 80mph, mine came in great condition. the rubber cover doesn’t seem like it’ll last very long, I have a feeling it will be sun damaged in the next year or so, but just a hunch.Easy to instal, and looks great. I paired it with a roof basket and it works just fine. The bars are slightly too thin for the basket, but for the most park everything is being held together just fine.

Instructions were horrible. Very little detail. The first line reads: WARNING: This product requires professional installation. “THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PROBLEM, DAMAGE OR LOSS DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION.” Also the directions claim the cross bars are labeled front and rear. They are not. Good luck figuring that out. The cross bar cover is very hard to put back on. I have no idea what the keys or locks do. I think they are just a deterrent. They have no real function. Fit my Jeep as advertised but maybe spend a little more and get a product that is easier to install. I’d send a picture of the less than useful “instructions” but I’m not giving Bezos access to my camera. This post will never last on the reviews.

The racks were not labeled front or back, of course I found out the hard way that I had them reversed. Because the instructions were so poor thank God there was a YouTube video. For Jeep owners, I am sure you know that these racks on only about 3 - 4 feet apart so not really good for tying anything very long down to them. Like a paddle board, for example. I don't recommend it.

Good product. Very sturdy. Love the color to match my GC.I installed them in the beginning of July and just recently I began to notice a whistle while driving. Today while on the freeway passing under bridges, it was a very loud whistle. Thankfully I have my windows tinted because it’s a little embarrassing to be honest.The sound is coming from the rubber seal that sides in from the sides.That could be improved.
