Great chairs
Can’t say how they compare to old school originals—without seeing side-by-side, but these feel like solid chairs that should last many years. Appears to be good quality hardware (stainless bolts—we’ll see). Paint job is very nice. Well packaged. No missing parts. But the comments about assembly are true. Knowing I was going to have to put these together by myself, I almost didn’t buy them. I’m glad I decided to take the chance. Yes they are-a-pain to assemble, alone. But with some patience and a bit of logical thinking, it really wasn’t that difficult. The included wrench does its job. But DO pony-up for an Allen wrench bit for a drill/impact driver before you start. You will thank yourself. And have a large piece of cardboard or rug—something soft to lay on the ground because you will need to put some pretty good pressure on the side of the chair to get that last bolt in. With two people these would go together in a snap. Even with the assembly head-ache, still 5 stars.

Retro outdoors metal chair, lime green
Beautiful chair, and my son was able to put it together mostly by himself. I helped push down the last side bar that screws to the seat so he could get the screw in. Otherwise no issues. The color is perfect...looks to be great quality and it's very comfortable!

Love them
I love these chairs! It was a bit of a challenge assembling them by myself, but I solved that issue by putting them up on my bed — much easier! The color looks great in my boho garden. Very sturdy and comfortable.

Don't assemble alone
The good news is that this is a beautiful chair. It looks just like the picture and it's actually quite comfortable. Bad news is it was incredibly hard to put together. I assemble lots of My own furniture but this one was very difficult. It's very heavy, which should be a good thing, but you have to hold the very heavy metal bars in place to attach it to the seat and back. You have to use one hand to secure one side with the wrench, and use your other hand to tighten it with the Allen key. Without somebody to help you hold that bar in place, it took me forever. I'm embarrassed to say that I could not do it with the large plastic washers so my chair may rest or loosen up or do whatever it's going to do, but it felt impossible to get those in. It's a good chair if you have someone to help you.

Quality Chair
Nice quality chair and well packed. We love them for around our firepit and outdoor patio. It takes two people to assemble and about 20 minutes per chair. The arm rests (Left & Right) are not marked as such so this threw us for a loop on the 1st chair. Once we figured that out, we moved along a little faster. A battery operated tool was very helpful as well. I recommend that for sure. This chair is reasonably priced as well.
