A Very Tasty and Healthier, Vegan Alternative to Egg-Based French Toast
Tried this for the first time today. I really like how simple and healthy the ingredients are, and I've gotta say - pretty impressed with how it works and tastes! They recommend using a nice white loaf, but I used Ezekial bread and it was good.I made mine savory with a sort of flour-thickened white "summer gravy" using flax milk, zucchini from our garden, summer squash from my friend's garden, onions, and tofurky brat pieces. Flavored with black pepper, spicy brown mustard, and a little liquid amino.Perhaps not the *prettiest* dish, but very tasty and packed with protein! 😅

Sucks!
Horrible product. Not sure why people rate it so high. The bread becomes a mushy mess that falls apart in the pan & will not crisp or brown. The can says use 1 & 1/4 cups of water or faux milk & farther down says 1/2 cup. I’ve tried both amounts & neither works. I’ve used different bread & different cooking surfaces. FAIL! Waste of time, money & staples. Major disappointment.

Taste great
Taste really good, my whole wheat bread turns out soggy soft even though it's well browned compared to using eggs. I made extra slices, froze it and when I heated it up in the toaster it was crisper and firm. Better the second time around in the toaster.

Love this product!
I recently tried this product and I'm happy I did! I was a bit skeptical when I looked at the powder. It didn't look or smell like anything that could make french toast. But I mixed it as the directions say (one teaspoon Vegg powder, 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup plant milk) and fried it up. It smelled like delicious french toast and tasted like it too! I used plain white bread the first few times. It was tasty but the bread's texture was a little soft to stand up well to dipping. I had better results with a heartier bread. I cooked it for a bit longer over a medium low heat in a good non stick pan, which gave it time to cook on the inside and not overcook on the outside. Ate it with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Will definitely buy this again.

Make your own save your money
We are vegans and I’m always looking to try new things I normally make vegan French toast myself but thought I’d see how this was. It was not what I hoped. It would be okay if I absolutely had to use it but I doubt that will ever happen. Very chalky. Probably won’t ever order again.

Perfect for vegans No EGG French toast
You must be careful not to leave the bread in there soaking like it’s egg because it’s not. Just dip and flip and drop it in a hot frying pan quickly otherwise yes it will be soggy. We love it my son always asks for it

Great taste but little nutrition
The stuff really works and is very easy and simple to whip up and use. Best (just like "real" French toast) when used with a Challah or slices of day old French bread. When fried up it does taste like the French toast you've been missing if you're vegan. I gave it 3 stars rather than more because unlike a "real" French toast or something made with tofu, the mix doesn't really add much nutrition to your breakfast, just what is supplied by your bread. So yes, it is very tasty and a treat, but you need more to create a satisfying healthy breakfast

TASTES LIKE CHILDHOOD!!
AMAZING! Just mix w water of your plant milk of choice (I used cashew milk) and didn't even add salt or sugar or cinnamon or anything. Tried it as is and the taste is amazing! I ended up eating it with a bit of earth balance butter and maple syrup and tasted like childhood! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
