You're gonna love it!!!
Purchased this for a 2010 RAM 1500, 5.7L HEMI. The package and contents were all in good condition when I received it. No missing parts. Spent about 45 minutes assembling what I could without needing to touch the vehicle. Installing it in the vehicle took about 45 minutes; I would say the estimated 90 minute install time is pretty accurate. No problems with installing it per the instructions, but I did make some notes on the instructions that may help save you some time with your installation. I recommend watching the install video on the MFG website for this product if you want to know how easy it is to install!►Installation Notes• You don't need to disconnect your negative battery cable to install this kit. Just make sure the key isn't in the ignition switch, i.e. that the ignition is turned OFF. This is a lot easier than writing down all the settings, reactivating radios, etc. This step was only mentioned to prevent the engine controller from reading a fault if power was applied to the IAT sensor while it was disconnected.• I trimmed the crank case vent tube 12 inches and still wound up trimming the provided vent hose (PN 5-4015) about 4 inches in order to install it on the vent -- plenty to spare so don't worry about precisely measuring the crank case vent tube.• Recommend using a tubing/PVC cutter to trim the vent tube, provided vent hose, and the edge trim. This makes the cuts super easy, especially for the hard plastic of the vent tube, and provided the edge trim! The edge trim has a metal insert (clip) in it to help it retain its shape and bite the edge of the heat shield.• The 4mm Allen wrench mentioned in the instructions is used on the M6 button head screws only. You will need a 3mm Allen wrench (not listed) for the M5 button head screws used to assemble the heat shield.• The zip-tie provided to secure the IAT extension harness is not long enough to go around the intake tube so plan on having some extra zip-ties handy. I used four (4), 8 inch zip-ties (two attached to each other to make two bands to secure the extension harness to the inlet tube.►Performance ResultsThere was nothing truly remarkable about the this intake when I started it up after the install. However, the results were immediately apparent when I took it for a test drive. The difference in the sound of the engine when accelerating is definitely noticeable, and truly amazing! You can tell right away that she can breath better with this intake because the sound of her HEMI rumble tells you so!! There was definitely a noticeable increase in HP, which I expect is around the value of the K&N test results (+15 HP). It is too early to say how much it will improve fuel efficiency, especially since it sounds so good...it'll be hard to keep my foot out of it! From what I found doing some research, most people see a 1.5 to 2 MPG increase in their fuel efficiency.

Worth it
Rotoform with oil filter. Fitment is flawless, came with everything needed for my 2013. Took 45 minutes to install. Throttle response is slightly improved, highway mileage went from 16 to 18 MPG. City mileage mostly unaffected. Intake noise is obvious when you put the hammer down but not obnoxious. Overall I’d give it a 8/10. A fully enclosed box with a cold air snorkel would be ideal but this is a great quality piece of kit.

2018 Ram 1500 Bighorn K&N air intake
Fits perfectly however; did not need spacer for fender install for airbox as advised. Would be helpful if instructions advised which screws and washers to use by install pictures and in description. Other than that; exhaust note is throatier at start and under load. Feeling the torque! Great addition. Hope gas mileage improves over stock a bit.

Looks Great - Sounds Awesome
For all you guys out there...I am a woman and I installed this on my 2009 Dodge Ram Hemi 5.7L. It took under 2 hours from opening the box to putting the last tool away. I took the time to clean up the engine under the cover since I had it off. I also Armoralled the engine cover. I didn't encounter any issues with the silicone tubes or finding the fender bolt as some did. The directions were pretty straight-forward with clear pictures. The entire system looks really awesome, although I don't think many people will ever see it. They have a hard enough time seeing the truck as it flys down the road! Now, it is going to be even harder to see.I had changed out the stock dual exhaust with a slightly louder Magnaflow right after purchasing the truck, so this truck has always sounded great. Dodge has a nice throaty sound anyway. The K&N intake makes that sound much deeper. It looses any hint of tinniness, and what comes out the exhaust sounds like it definitely came all the way from the heart of the Hemi. It does resinate a bit more at idle when sitting in the garage. But when you step on it, you can hear and feel the power difference. My son sent me a text message and said: FYI...They forgot to tell you that you now run the risk of sucking small animals, bystanders, and compact cars into your grill upon accelleration! LOLI will be checking the impact on gas mileage at some point and will check back on that issue. But, I didn't buy a Hemi for gas mileage!I would definitely recommend this product. It is well worth the investment. Amazon does have the best price. I researched that thoroughtly. I have always used the K&N filers (air and oil) and have been comtemplating this purchase for almost three years. I am glad I finally did it.The only thing I can say is that for the money, K&N should provide a new intake ir temperature sensor so you don't have to remove the existing one from the factory intake. Had I broke that getting it out, I would have been stuck with no way to get to the auto supply store. Having that part would have saved installation time and eliminated worry about breaking the old one.
