Really like these tires
Ok so I made the switch to these tires and went from a 700c x 23 to a 700c x 28 in early spring of this year. I'm a 190lb 18-19 mph avg. speed rider ride several time a week in all kinds of weather. I live in Maine and our roads here are really rough and the new pavement feel doesn't last very long here with the big winters and all the plowing the roads really take a beating. I have to say going from 23's to 28's on my Cannondale Synapse clincher made a huge difference for these rough roads here in Maine its a completely different ride now much smoother and to my surprise my average speed is way up going bigger is defiantly faster on these roads ! I've settled on 90psi. in the front and 90-94psi in the rear for me that's what I like on this tire. As of now I have over a 1000 miles on these tires and the front looks like new still and the back could probably go another 1000 but the price is so reasonable I think I'm just going to put the front to the rear and put a fresh tire in the front. I've been really happy with these tires so far the wet traction is great ,cornering is excellent ,these are smooth and fast on sub par roads including top speeds of up to 48mph almost every ride I go on I even ride a few gravel roads from time to time with no problems at all. I've hit potholes ,low manhole covers, rough railroad tracks, rocks in the road, broken beer bottles you name it and I've only had one flat in the rear from a tiny piece of steel belting wire that I picked up ! As other riders stated when I first put these tires on they were not fun to install "very tight fit" however I noticed when I replaced my tube from my one flat the tire it came off and went back on very easy once they had been ridden on. I've been very happy with these tires and I don't plan on switching to another tire anytime soon between the price and the performance its a great tire for me I cant wait to see how they do in late fall.

Smooth ride in 25 MM
My stash of GP 4000's finally ran out. Due to the crazy prices of everything these days. GP 5000 we're just to much. Tried these instead. I can say I enjoy them. Smooth and supple ride. True to width, maybe a touch wider in 25 MM.These are on my nice weather bike. Grip is great on dry conditions. Can't speak about wet performance. Will buy again. Don't see the price of 5000's coming down Anytime soon.

What a Pain putting these bad boys on.
What a B...... putting these bad boys on. As from what I've read from other reviews. (Very tight to put on). I've also read of blow outs too. Putting on the rear tire, I found where it would not seat against the rim correctly. What I had to do was fill, release air. Refill to a higher pressure a few times. I started at 80psi and increased 5 psi each time. Where I heard where the tire would basically (pop or ping). where the bead on the tire would fit up against the rim. I've checked the tires on both side a couple times to make sure they were equally seated.I think if I did not refill a few times. I think I would of had issues first time out.And being the first time out, (comparing to the stock tires). I have noticed less rolling resistance, and the ride is ok.And with new tires, I've also learned I have to let new tires break in a little, especially for wet surfaces. I've had to experience the bike coming out from underneath me on a different brand tire which were brand new. It's something I will do until I KNOW how the tires react.I do like the markers on the tire that show when the tires are due for replacement.Time will tell how long they will last.06/10/18 update, these tires are great. wet or dry. I'll buy again

awesome tires so far
Picked these up in May 2014 and have had them on several bikes. The verdict: awesome tires so far.I run these are on road bikes used for recreational riding in and around Atlanta. We do not get much in the way of road debris or horrible roads, so this could bias the experience. That said, I do not remember a single flat with these. I run the 25s.They are not, as has been mentioned, super lightweight. I do not have scales for bike parts, but holding these next to, say, my Michelin Pro 3s, one can easily feel the weight difference -- these are heavier. That said, as with all Continental tires I have owned over the years, the wear is excellent. Again, I do not actually log miles per tire, but the one on my rear has, roughly, 3000 miles on it. It’s pretty flattened across the middle, and I plan on replacing it quite soon with another. It is, however, rolling along like a trooper with nary a ding or cut. I almost do not want to replace it.My experience with bikes and tires runs 30-odd years, and I do not slavishly buy specific tire brands for our many bikes. I like Panaracers for my steel ’cross bike because they look great and run buttery. I pick up cheap-o CSTs for our commuters and have been quite pleased with their price, performance, and wear. For our road bikes, I like light-ish tires, predictable wear, low price, and reliability. These, as the English would say, tick all the boxes.

Great bang for the buck!
Started out riding Continental GP4000iis, GP5000, Pirelli PZero Velo 4s, Pirelli PZero Race, and now these. Cost of bike tires has gone up tremendously and inflation. I just purchased these Continental Grand Sport Race and let me tell you, I am in love with these tires. Why I had not tried these before....beats me. Not heavy, good looking lettering on the sidewall, grippy, great rebound, and super smooth. I have over a 1000 miles on my pair and they still look new. Really good looking tire and all-rounder.

Great tires
These tires are very good quality for the money. Fast but good traction. I liked that Amazon shipped them in a large box so they were not folded and there was no warping of the beads. Not sure if they always ship in the US like this. Would buy again.
