Fit like a glove...!
Worked like a charm...! Exact replacement, very easy to install. Actually works better that the original which was not quite pulling the latches back all the way and the tailgate was sticking. This handle retracts the latches completely and opens with tailgate easily. Very pleased...!!

Fit great and was very easy to install.
Didn't do a photo but I could not tell a difference in looks between it and the OEM. Possibly not as heavy/thick as OEM, but hard to tell as my old one was broken with pieces missing. It went on a 2006 Tundra. There are videos online that were good examples. 8 screws from cover on inside of tailgate, disconnect the linkages by rotating plastic tabs and old one is out. Remove snap ring to take you lock and put in new one. ( I need to clean dirt out of mine) From there the install is basically the reverse of removal. Took about 20 minutes. On mine, the plastic tabs that secure the linkage were a little snug, more than the video, so I just was careful not pull them out of plane, keep the rotation as intended without twisting them up.Have been on 2 months and everything has been fine, but I have only used the tailgate a dozen times since I put it on.Very pleased. For my usage it was great price and does what I need it to

Good price, works as expected, fairly easy install.
This mostly plastic lift gate handle works well. It was fairly easy to install without using any instructions. Remember to take the lock out of the old one and install it into this new one. If you are not mechanically inclined, you might need to watch a video to figure out how to take the lock ring off to remove the lock, install it on the new one, hook up the 2 levers that pull on the cable to release the locks and reinstal the new locking clip. But, it is not hard, 2 screw hold the handle in place. There were about 8 screws in the tailgate that needed to be removed to get the access pannel off. Once installed the locking mechanism worked well, the handle opens the tailgate when the handle is almost fully open, so you have to pull it almost all the way out for my Toyota Tundra to open the gate. The install took about 25 minutes. I would buy this again.

Toyota Tundra replacement that worked and was high quality
This was a direct replacement and fit the Tundra tailgate exactly. The quality was excellent. Note that it does not come with a lock. The original one snapped in place. Toyota quoted $198 plus tax. This was 1/10th of the cost and equal quality.
