Proven Winners Lemony Lace Elderberry has white flowers and cheery gold foliage that turns an attractive chartreuse as it ages. Non-edible red fruit appears in fall. It is also deer resistant.

Great plant if the delivery guy does not kill it.
Was excited to get it, but the delivery guy put it on its side in side the mailbox regardless of orientation arrow and live plant in plane sight on the box. Many broken stems, it's leaves began to wither, and the color of the plant was a faded green, some were brown and dead. After some TLC and a few days under the grow light it's color became more of a dark green, and some of the stems became a bright green. I am very happy with the product, but disappointed in the poor handling by the carrier. Looks much like what you see in the photo they advertise.

This plant grows fast
It came in with just the root and a piece of flour on it it looks so amazing now it was growing so much since we put it in soil when it came in that we had to tie it so it don't go into none of the other plants on the patio at least the color is a bluish greenish color on the plant it did come in healthy by the way this elderberry is looking amazing we've been having it for maybe a month or two

Beautiful looking shrub!
I was looking for a large shrub to use in the front of our home. This beautiful shrub is just what I was looking for. Of course, it is small now, but it has already put on some growth in just a couple of weeks. The fine cut leaves are similar to Japanese Maples, absolutely gorgeous! Shrub began blooming today! I am totally excited to watch the progress & growth of this beauty!!!!

It's a dead stick
I am so disappointed. It is literally a dead stick barely poking out of the dirt. No roots. No life. There are dead leaves sprinkled around the top mixed in the dirt that obviously were never attached as there is nowhere for them to be attached. They didn't fall off the plant, there is no plant. There was bone dry dirt everywhere. It was a mess. I should have taken the negative reviews more seriously, which is the biggest reason I am posting my review. I dont like being negative amd potentially affecting someone's business, but this is terrible. I gambled here and lost. This was a complete waste of money.

...seems to be doing well so far
I wish I'd taken a picture of the plant upon arrival. It was a bit shaken up and a little dry in spots, but it's been potted and babied for a week or two and seems to be thriving. It's spread out a bit and has new bright green leaves. I may put it outside in a few weeks once I find a suitable, protected spot for it. Fingers are crossed.

Already preparing to flower! (And flower it did!)
I loved the look of this bush so ordered it here and planted it right away. That was about a month ago and already it has the little bunches of seed heads ready to burst into blooms! So happy with it that I bought a second so it will produce berries for my birds. Had to add the photo of the gorgeous blooms! Absolutely LOVE this bush!

The jury is still out but it may be the weather this year
I use a ton of Elderberry. I got these 3 earlier this year, they were strong and healthy starters. They remained in the greenhouse until established and did very well. I moved them to in ground and they started to struggle, now I have put them back in pots but they have remained weak. It may be that we have had so much insane rain in FL they are to wet most of the time but was hoping they would do a bit better so I could stop buying elderberries and pick our own. I will put them back in the greenhouse over winter and hopefully in the spring they will be stronger and larger. Fingers crossed.

Good price. Will be beautiful
I ordered two 4.5 quart Lemony Lace Elderberries. They were packaged well and delivered quickly. The soil on both plants was still moist upon arrival and they’re about 8 inches tall. One plant is definitely more full than the other. The leaves were a little wilted, but I suppose that’s to be expected from a plant with delicate leaves. I was happy to find these on Amazon because the Lemony Lace variety that I have seen in the gallon size at my local nurseries this year have had a similar amount of foliage, but have been three times the price. I’m excited to get these planted. I planted one two years ago that was similar in size to these and it’s now 3 feet tall and a really beautiful addition to my yard.
