Good read
Well developed characters, the story line was a little weak. It was was quick read, not heavy, a good beach book.

Interesting
I feel like it was a good book but it was harder to relate to. We read it for book club and it was still entertaining more towards the middle/end of the book.

70 Something
I loved the descriptions of all the places they visited. I felt as if I was there. I am of the same age as these women in the story. I enjoyed imagining what it would be like to just go off and have an adventure.I would recommend this book to any woman ready to dream of adventure, fun, and laughter! Many times I laughed out loud!Certainly earned a 5star from me!

I really enjoyed this book. I dont get all of the UK references as I am American, but it still translates as humorous! This book had me laughing, fretting, crying, and rejoicing all the way through. Growing friendship on the road
In this novel, as in The Runaway Wife, Connie McColl displays a wonderful ability to form relationships and grow friendships with people who at first seem unlikely and alien to her experience. The 2 women she chooses to travel with through France and Italy are not the easiest companions. But as they support one another through a variety of circumstances they form close bonds and lasting friendships.(I'm not so sure however, that the police would have been so blind to all that money!)
