If you are looking for an easy to read very brief intro
Very short book without much content. If you are looking for an easy to read very brief intro, this may fill your needs. But if you actually want to learn something, look elsewhere. I find the book to be rather expensive for the value provided.

Covers a great deal of intermediate ground
I haven't spent enough time to try out everything. For me the book is a reference to get me through something I am currently trying to achieve. Sometimes my questions go beyond what is in this book--that will probably always apply to any book I study. I like this one for being so broad--covering so many topics.

not very helpful, not enough here for a newbie but ridiculous for anyone with more experience.

Good text
Helps with a fairly difficult product for home & business users like me. I can follow the book & my creations work thanks to it's clear language.

Get It Done
A good offering on a laptop with a large window and color not a monochrome Kindle. There are new facts that I learned and have helped me expand my knowledge with this product.

Creating applications with Microsoft Access
This book was instrumental in my college studies. I took Access 1 and Access 2 and was able to study from this book.

No practical example, no worthy technical or programing tips
Written with the least effort, just a few general guidelines without worthy technical tip. You may have thought like me that it is cheap anyway and it is worth to have a short, well-written introduction before diving into the details. This book would not fill the bill:1) It is not well written, it shows no practical example or tutorial;2) It has nothing particularly smart to teach you; the examples it gives for the macros are very poor.So basically you will have to pay GBP 20 anyway for a good book (like Access The Missing Manual) if you want to do anything decent with Access. That book will teach you the same as this one, but is better written, and is much more complete with plenty of important matters and practical examples to follow.

Good Introduction
Considering the price it is not a bad introduction to Access 2010 covering the basics of setting up a database.
