Solid product and works great! But noisy
First the positives - this is a solid built product. High capacity fans, metal, grills on both side, simple to install and use. I installed it in the rear of a smaller 12U network rack with ten devices installed, and it works great! Almost all the devices had a noticeable temperature drop of at least 10C once it started going (wow!). This moves the hot air out and makes a big difference! So the negatives - There's no power switch and only one speed, you plug it in and it turns on. But that's easily fixed - I leave it on most of the time, and connected it to a wall switch when I want it off.But here's the big negative. It's NOT QUIET. Think a floor fan at medium to high speed. Normally not an issue for rack equipment since it's usually with other semi-loud equipment, but the product directly advertises itself multiple times as "Ultra-Quiet" and "virtually silent" -- it's NOT. If you have it in a network closet, or an office room like I do with a lot of other ambient noise, it's no big deal. But it should be pointed out in case you're wanting to use this in a home theater environment, inside a recording studio, or other quiet environment with little noise: you will hear these fans.I would definitely buy this again. As I said, it's built solid, very high quality, and a lot better than I've seen other rack exhaust fans at twice the price using a lot of plastic parts. This would have been 5 fully earned stars, even with some fan noise because that's what I was expecting with heavy duty exhaust fans. But since they specifically advertise this is "Ultra-Quiet" when it's not, I had to ding a star.

Great Value
It is quite enough for me and it seems to move a lot of air. I would buy again.

Perfect for equipment rack cooling
The cooling fans works great for moving fresh air through the cabinet.

Very effective...VERY LOUD!
These were supposed to be quiet. They are not. My network is in the bedroom next to my desk, and when I turn these on to cool the network, it sounds like someone started a turbine. They are very effective, but put them in a closet with your network.

Five Stars
Great fan. Moves a considerable amount of air and has been running smoothly for over a month.

Fell off stereo cabinet and broke
Fell off the side of my stereo cabinet at 6-in height in broke the plastic that protects the fans so that lasted me a week lol... And I paid like $80 for this... Definitely won't be getting anymore...

Works as advertised at a much better price
The fans exhaust the air from the rack and keep it cool. They move a good deal of air considering their size. We've had the fan for about a year with no trouble at all. There is no power switch. Plug it in and it runs continuously at a constant speed. The noise is expected for the amount of air being moved. It's not loud, but it's not quiet either. If you want a silent unit, this one is not for you.The fans are permanently mounted via rivets, so they cannot be reversed unless you are prepared to drill the rivets about and replace them with nuts and machine bolts. It wouldn't be difficult if you have a general knowledge of construction or fastener options. One of the wires was loose when it arrived. I reattached the wire with a wire nut, surrounded the connection with electrical tape, and the unit has performed admirably for over a year. The one loose wire and attachment via rivets instead of machine screws are the only reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5.I highly recommend it for a server closet.
