Calypso Basics by Reston Lloyd Acrylic Storage Canisters, Set of 3, Plum

My goal is to have bright and cheerful countertop decor since the counters themselves are very blah. At the same time everything needs to be functional. I think they hit the mark on both. One is coffee, one sugar, and one a supplement I put in my coffee every morning. The supplement container is black, so not cheerful, and I wanted it handy, not put away in a cabinet. I ordered teal measuring cups and spoons specifically for these as a bonus bright color. I’m happy with the outcome.The containers themselves are VERY light weight. Not enough that I think they’re fragile, but it startled me the first few times I used them. The lids have seals, but not super tight. They stay on fine, just not as tight as some glass jars I have. You definitely can’t pick up the whole container by the lid as it would come right off. They’re perfect for my use. I would be hesitant to use them for long term dry good storage.I’m not sure what to say about the price. It’s seems odd to me that the 3 acrylic containers cost more than 3 glass containers I purchased at the same time with super tight seals. I’d personally still buy them for the price since the visual is what I wanted.I wanted to add a photo. I don’t see a way to add images on my phone.

Nice edition to my pantry shelf. The seals are air-tight so no moisture or insects can get into them. They are too small for flour and sugar canisters, but these hold powdered sugar, brown sugar and chocolate chips perfectly.

Purchased this item because I plan on doing my kitchen in a lemon theme and thought this would fit perfectly. I was correct! The color of this matches my other decor items perfectly. Came in perfect condition and feels sturdy. My only gripe would be that the outer canister didn’t come wrapped in plastic as the rest so very tiny scuffs from shifting in the box during shipping are noticeable. Overall an amazing set and I can’t wait to fully decorate to get the full view!

I have been looking for kitchen storage containers that would be lightweight and not bulky for our RV kitchen.These are perfect!And in the lovely perfect Red color!The Red color matches perfectly with my other kitchen accessories!I’m going to buy the spaghetti storage container too!There was just a very small scratch but not big enough to really see.The lids are tightly secured..I’m delighted I found these storage containers!

I bought this for my new college student’s apartment. I think the quality is good for that purpose but I would not use it in my actual home. The only real disappointment was that the advertised picture seems to me a darker lime green and when I received it ...it is a very “light” lime green. I kept it because that was my only option because his color scheme is lime green. If I had another option I would have chosen something with a darker color tone. But for my college student...I am not going to complain too much.

One of the 3 containers is unusable. Attempted to clean whatever is stuck on the sides. Not worth returning, since 2 are ok.
