Awesome price, awesome sound!
These CX 1.00 earphones are great for the price. Comparing these to the CX 300 II and the CX 310 the CX 1.00 beats them both, but sadly not by much. To those who have not used the CX 300 II's or CX 310's these earphones provide great crisp clear highs, clean mids, and punchy bass. The bass in my opinion lacks slightly, (just like the CX 300 II's and CX 310's) but then again I am a pretty big bass head and the bass is more noticeable at higher volume levels. The earphones also have great build quality and I suspect they'll last me quite a long time considering they come with a 2 year warranty. The cable however is something I wish Sennheiser had worked on a bit more. It's rubber and in my opinion doesn't feel like very good quality and also when it rubs against your clothing it does make the annoying rubbing sound although it's not too bad. These are a great value and I do recommend them especially over the older CX earphones.

Just bought 2 pair of brand new CX 1.00 earbuds sides went defective within 1 working day!
I bought two pair of these earbuds and within ONE day (they claim to have a 2 year warranty - that does not cover USA) of normal use of sitting down using them normally for a normal work day , the pair I was using decided to have one side become much lower in sound than the other which has happened to me so many times with Seinheiser products after buying countless pairs of earbuds from them over the years - they DO NOT LAST! expect them to have some sort of fault within or around 1 to 2 months thats with YEARS of testing on my part and multiple different versions as well - BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Get a CX300 precision
I recently bought these two pairs (CX1.00 and CX300 precision) and it is definitely worth to pay few more bucks for the CX300.CX1.00 is not bad, but comparing to the CX300 it lacks bass and clarity. And the CX300 has 4 bud sizes (against 3 from the CX1.00) which always helps.Buy them if you want symetrical cord lines and do not need bass in your music (even tough you will still have lower clarity).

Fantastic Sound, But Somewhat Short Longevity
These earbuds have fantastic sound (treble, mids, and bass alike, if you select the correct tip size for your ears) for the price! They're extremely comfortable to lie down and/or sleep in, and have amazing noise isolation, which is essential for my primary uses for them: blocking out road noise at night or sleeping through my husband burning the midnight oil. My only disappointment is that every darn time I buy these, the rubber on the cable attaching the individual buds to the single cord at the base fails in some way, eventually leading to the sound cutting out permanently after about a year. Usually it's near the right earbud for me, but this last time it was at the end of that run. Never fails on the rest of the cord. I still VERY highly recommend these and have bought them several times in a row despite this because of their comfort and quality (and the price), but if you're looking for earbuds that will last you more than a year, I would try other offerings.

Good sounding0 earphones, but broke in less than a week
The sound quality is quite good for the price, but the build quality is not there. I was using these earphones for almost a week, but today (thursday, 6 days after receiving them) the 3.5mm jack broke off. I am very careful with my earphones, and I always kept it in a carrying bag. But today I pulled it out of the bag and it looked like the jack was starting to come out. I plugged it into my phone to see if they still worked, and they didn't. So I unplugged it and the jack stayed in my phone. I would skip these and recommend spending a just a little bit more on a more well built product. The first picture is what it looked like when I pulled it out of the bag, and the second is the aftermath of unplugging it

These earbuds are the best. I have really small ear canals and have ...
Sennheiser does it again! These earbuds are the best. I have really small ear canals and have a hard time finding earbuds that don't hurt. Not only do these not hurt but you can barely feel them. I also own the over ear Sennheiser headphones; all excellent quality, great sound and last forever.

Expensive but the best
I love these and I've been buying them from years. They're overly expensive, and I have several other earbuds that cost 1/5th as much and match the same audio quality and noise-blocking ability. But none are as comfortable as these, mainly due to how light these are.The bass is nice and loud, and they are great at blocking out sounds around you. Perfect for listening to podcasts while walking in a noisy city, or listening to music at work. The soft buds conform well to my ears and don't hurt or leak sound like hard ones.I much prefer these 1.00 to the 3.00 model, which are angled differently and do not stay in my ears as well.

Build quality is poor plagued with thin wires and poor ergonomics
Based on my own personal experience with these headphones I find them over rated and under performing. Build quality is poor plagued with thin wires and poor ergonomics. No matter which cone I tried, these headphones never seem to fit properly in my ear. Moving forward to sound quality I find it lacking. The high frequencies are good very crisp and clear but there is no depth. Mid-range is barely ok and bass is poor. I find them overpriced for what they are, but again that's just my opinion.
