Outstanding Fan.
This is the second Pro Breeze fan that I’ve purchased. The first, was called a Challenge fan, I purchased 7 years ago and is still in perfect working order to this day! It’s the exact same fan as the Pro Breeze fan, the remote controls even work on both fans.So I wanted a floor standing fan for the bedroom, and I knew the fan had to be the same fan as the Challenge fan. This Pro Breeze fan is identical in every aspect to the Challenge fan.The fan has 3 good speed levels, and a quite fan speed mode for when you want to sleep. Even on speed 1 setting, I can fall asleep without interference from the fan noise. But quite mode just makes it a little more, well quite. The remote control is a must for me. As I have a back disability so getting up and down off the sofa to change speeds etc is a problem. The remote works perfectly, with the choice to change the speed setting, oscillate the fan, turn the fan on and off, turn on quite mode and a button to mimic real wind speeds, so the fan goes from speed settings 2-1-3-1-3-2 etc. These fans are built very well, good quality parts and the last a long time! Plastic fan blades are more quiet than metal blades, so this is good to have plastic blades. Of course you are going to hear some sound when the fan blades are cutting through the air but that’s normal for every single fan. Its certainly not a noisy fan!I’m sure this fan will last as long as my 7 year old fan that is still working perfectly. Its well worth the higher price than a cheap fan that will stop working after 2 years! So you’ll have to buy another!

Very sturdy and effective
Very pleased with this fan. It's a good size and easy to use, either using the remote or the buttons on the stand. Very effective at keeping us cool during the recent heatwave, powerful and not too noisy. The base is quite heavy and not easily knocked over. It was well packaged and easy to assemble.

Excellent
The weighted base makes it really stable amd it feels well made. The night-time setting isn't too loud and offers a good breeze to help stay cool.Remote works well and does the job. Would be nice if it used AAA batteries though so i could use a rechargeable. My other gripe is the really loud beep whenever you press a button. The option to mute it would be perfect.

Not your store brand fan
In one sentence; it is a good fan. As well it should be because (at least for me) nearly £80 for a fan is a lot of money but you get your money's worth. The base is sturdy, the fan is solid and well built. Not wobbly or flimsy parts, really solidly put together. The remote is actually really nice. It works from the other side of the room and from various angles. I never had a fan with a remote so I thought whatever, it's a nice perk but I don't really need it. Now I absolutely love having remote. The good thing is that it has all the controls on the fan so if you lose your remote no problem. You can still fully control the fan from control panel on the fan itself. It has good settings but I don't play around with those too much. Usually just put it on rotate and the highest setting. It works fine, cools the room reasonably well. I wouldn't say it does wonders but it doesn't do any worse than any other fan. At the end of the day no matter what brand you buy it's just circulating air with rotating blades, there's no magic to this "tech", and this fan does it absolutely fine.Regarding noise that's maybe the only drawback. I don't think its excessively loud but it is definitely not whisper quiet either, I would say it's just as loud as any other fan. I actually like that it can be a bit loud on the highest setting as it drowns out music my downstairs neighbors are sometimes playing.Overall, it's expensive but good quality fan. I'm happy with my purchase.

Good buy
As UK getting more and more hot during summer, this is a definite buy. Powerful enough for our medium sized room. No trouble so far. Not much noisy either. Strong built too.

Life saver during this recent heat wave.
I normally buy a cheap fan from somewhere local, but with the heatwave coming I needed to try something a bit more powerful. I live in a very stuffy top floor flat and was dreading the temperatures as it's so difficult to cool the building down once it heats up.I'm so glad I splurged on this fan. It's 10x more effective that the cheaper £15ish models. The Natural mode is a dream! Point it at yourself, put it on natural mode and spritz yourself down with a water mister every so often. Bliss! Natural mode speeds up and slows down every few seconds at a nice pace.Noise wise, I wouldn't say it's at all quiet, even on quiet mode. It gives off a constant, medium to high level hum imo, but I'm willing to tolerate that for the cool breeze it gives out.A fan will never feel as good as air con, but if air con isn't an option, this fan is the next best thing. It's not to difficult to assemble. I found the plastic ring around the front and back cages to be quite fiddly and needed my partner to help.Very study build. Not at all rickety and no rattling.

Best Fan I Ever Purchased
I've bough many cheap fans through the years from my local hardware store, only for them to stop working or take half an hour to start spinning. This Pro Breeze is the best fan I've purchased so far. 5 blade, robust, a lot quieter than the cheap fans and the convenience of having a remote control is a big bonus. It's worth paying that bit extra for a quality fan like this.
