Good product
I installed this on a 01 jeep cherokee xj. Installation took some time but it’s not hard, clean the mating surface and put the gasket on dry, that made the process take longer because I was worried about if I need to put it on dry or with some rtv and couldn’t find any answers anywhere. Tip: before removing the belts, pully and water pump, loosen the bolts (don’t remove) securing the pully to the water pump, it makes it easier to get it off laterBut I’ve been running it for about a year now and it’s been working great, very happy.

Better than carquest
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this waterpump only because the carquest waterpump leaked from inlet tube and did not fit well. the acdelco's Gasket fit snugly against mating surface and no leaks as of writing this and fits well,5/5.

Another Quality part from ACDelco
Replaced pump on 1996 cherokee 4.0L. Direct fit, no problems with install. Make sure you get the Water Pump Inlet Tube, it will make the change easier not having to deal with swapping the old one over. Came with a gasket, but I used a Fel-pro gasket. Coolant temp sitting in traffic during the summer would go to the halfway point, runs much cooler than the worn out old one did. 17k miles so far.
