Works perfectly in my area.
Perfect picture for a very cheap price. Easy to locate and reasonable cable length. I am 14.5 km from tv mast so I didn’t need anything amplified.

Why any negative reviews???!
I think many people who leave negative comments on this item (or similar aerials items sold on Amazon [but this is the only item I have tested, with success] fail to do one simple thing: take the time to go to TV settings and re-tune/ search (or "refresh") the channel list. I picked up over 100 channels upon re-tuning, which is absolutely fantastic (thinking originally, it did not work). Again, upon re-tuning, I picked up 100 plus channels (you read that correctly, including radio stations, well, certainly 127+... I'm not exaggerating, even if I repeat the point for emphasis!).Customer service is exceptional and friendly (response within 24 hours... hmmn... so how come [all UK internet/ broadband providers lie to us by pretending they are offering value for money and being generous in claiming [in my recent dispute Virgin Media ("VM"), and other providers before that] that they will give me 70 channels as part of my "basic" package, when this arial picks all of those channels up (examples: Dave/ Challenge/ oh.. all of QVC and that stuff), and then many more: i.e: channels VM don't even provide on their basic service (such as Sony movies, etc.). I didn't know these many channels existed on freeview! You are being robbed people (by the major UK oligarchy of internet/ TV providers!). Furthermore, VM and other providers never bother to reply to any email I have ever sent - unlike this seller.Just to point out: you cannot just plug this into a TV you have had for years (probably receiving analogue rather than digital signal) and expect this item to work (as was the case with old analogue aerials) - you actually have to spend a short amount of time to position this to get optimum reception. This item saved me buying an external roof-top arial, paying for someone to install that (and also including the cost of cable and drilling that through my walls, etc.) and hence, saving me from a lot of major hassle, and all for £9.99? Unbelievable!Inevitably, if you live in an area with poor reception (very rural/ near obstructed, etc.) this product may not work, but if so, it's absolutely ridiculous to blame this item, particularly in view of its low cost.

Sort of works....
I have an HD digital ready TV, but I live in a flat and get NO signal from the communal area. I live 11 miles from the nearest transmitter, near to a town centre. This was so easy to install. But, I do get some signal from it, but not all channels, and I have to Keep moving it, as randomly the signal keeps dropping and the picture distorts. The cable is long, but awkwardly the TV is in the opposite corner to the window and doesn't reach. So, it did improve the situation but not solve the problem. It is super small and thin, easy to use and doesn't need its own power supply. I will keep it and keep trying to get better reception....

Cheap and cheerful
As a millennial I've never watched live TV since living at home, realised I could pick this up dirt cheap and suddenly have access to lots of channels for free. Used it to watch the football and some tennis, picture quality is decent (most channels are still in SD!) receiver took 1 minute to plug in and set up. I also like that you can listen to a few radio stations via Freeview. Very cheap way to get access to old style live TV which still has it's charms.
