This is wxactly what I need. I needed a mount that would not leave marks or holes.I usually run without a front plate and decided to get this in case I get a “fix-it” ticket. I can easily install my front plate without drilling holes in the bumper. If I take the car to a meet-up at “cars and coffee” I can remove the entire assembly without leaving any marks.

I have a 2015 435 Convertible. I was happy to pass inspection with no permanent holes in bumper. This is very well designed. Very Sturdy, especially if you use the center hole. It would have been nice if there were directions because there were parts for two different size tow hooks, and to different lengths of mounting bolts and two extra nuts. It seems as this will work for a variety of cars in a variety of positions. Everything snugs up fine, I didn't understand other reviewers issues, but maybe that's what directions are important. My advice, build it out from the tow hook. Screw in the tow hook adapter and tighten. (There are two, pick the one that fits. Then "dry" fit the two different mounting bolts, one is longer, and check the clearance with how you want your plate installed. Tighten the mounting bolt. Then decide if you need the nut. I didn't. Then mount the mounting plate, and lastly the license plate. I had to remove the license plate to tighten after everthing was lined up, so my advice is build out from the tow hook. Nice product. Can't wait to remove it ;)

This product is made and sent from China. They give you plenty of parts (Sort of) for the many models of Bimmer this front mount needs to accommodate. I did away with the locking nut on the tow shaft in order to shorten the shaft length by 1/4". I wish that the shaft was shorter by 1/2" but I understand why they machined it that way. Mounting to the tow hook area was simple and again I did away with the locking shaft nut. I'll see if that becomes a regretful thing in a few weeks/months. The other area if I have to complain is I wished this company would have designed a way to provide two mounting locations for the plate assembly to the shaft. Its all dependent on one screw holding it in place on a curved area of the plate assembly. I was able to create a better mounting situation using some spare nuts & locking washers. I would recommend lockTite if you have any. All in All it looks great I really wanted to give a 5 star but only if the plate hugged the bumper closer and the main plate assembly was secured using 2 nuts & screws instead of 1. I do recommend it, you just have to be creative with the assembly.

Acceptable product for the price. The quality of the metal that holds the license plate is sturdy. The mounting hardware to the bumper is definitely adequate. Unfortunately the way the plate holder connects to the tow hook bolt sucks. There's only one bolt that connects both of the pieces. The bolt is too long so the plate is not secured to the tow hook bolt so it spins freely. I tried using a couple of washers on both sides of the license plate holder and it barely worked. With the plate installed, with the washes filling in the gap due, my license plate still would move when driving. Too bad that there aren't 2 bolts to hold the plate horizontal to the tow hook bolt. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.

It worked perfectly. I didn’t want to perforate my bumper, so this was the obvious choice. I was concerned with clearance since my bumper is not flat, but it comes with extensions in case you need them. Easy to instal and looks great, while having a sturdy hold.
