Amazing club- Every golfer need on of these clubs
"I wanted to let you know my first out of the box experience with my new C3i Wedge today. I watched all the videos that were sent upon placing my order on Amazon .You guys do an excellent job on explaining how to use the C3i Wedge. I am a beginner/amateur golfer and always have issues with my short game. Today I received my new C3i club and went to the Lake Forest Practice golf range in Lake Forest, California .First I used the club on the driving range to get the feel. I was very impressed with the loft the 65 degree provided . Next I gave the “Chipping /Sand area a shot. Holy S%$t, it was so simply to get out of the sand bunker. Next I used it on the short and long range chipping area. Short was very simple and controllable from 15 ft away.Next I moved back to 50 ft away and tried the ¾ to ½ swing. Every shot from my new club surrounded the pin area with easy. My 8th shot from 55ft was a “hole in one”. I have never made a shot in the hole from that distance.I am really happy with my purchase and am I looking forward to using it really soon on the golf course.. THANK YOU for the awesome technology."

Bounce is your friend!
On a golf trip in Ireland one of my playing partners had this wedge. He’s a 3 handicap and he swears by this club. He let me hit it a few times coaching me to let club sit on the ground and trust the shaft lean and let the club work. After getting the feel for proper set up and ball position I was sold!I found a 2 clubs bundle package and received the 59 and 65 degree steel shafted wedges. I saw some other reviews that said they received a senior flex shaft. I did receive my wedges in two separate shipments so not sure what is going on there. But I am very satisfied. Now I have done some range work to get used to hitting both clubs. I have incorporated into 3 rounds of golf. Focusing on shorter shots vs seeing what happens on full shots. I see two areas where these two wedges will help you.1- out of the sand trap both clubs were amazing in the ease of getting SHORT sided bunker shots to just pop out and land like a butterfly on the green.2- 15-30 yards shots around the green. Tight lies and light rough are ideal. I tried a shot out of deeper rough and club went under the ball.I would recommend practicing both clubs out of the sand and tight lies in fairway or light rough.I also hit some 80% tempo “full” wedges and the 59 went a comfortable 40 yards and the 65 went about 25 yards. I trust my other wedges right now for those tweener yardages. Your mileage may vary!I cannot stress how easy it is to hit out of bunkers. And for soft delicate little trouble or flop shots inside 15yards the 65 is great. Last round I had 3 of these and loved letting the club do the work.

*3 month update* Does what it says-Needs better paint job
*3 Month update*I wanted to update my original review after 3 months of use with this club.My original findings are still accurate, however there are a few things to note.* The club saves me an average of 2-3 shots per round. My index has dropped to reflect this.* Tight lie pitches (10-25 yards) are easier now with rarely any chunks. Very pleased.* Bunker use is still good, however it is hard to control precise distance with this club. This can result in leaving an 8-10' putt. The upside is I don't think even one shot was left in the bunker using it these last 3 months.* Hitting out of thin lies in bunkers (i.e. unknown barely any sand) is still brutal. This club doesn't help much there. Shots still go sailing long or over the green.* The swing weight of the club is quite heavy. There is a lot of metal in the head. Distance control has been good everywhere else besides bunkers though.* If you are a super good bunker player, then you wouldn't be looking at this club in the first place. I just don't want to spend that much time practicing them anymore.Initial Review:(For reference-my current USGA index is 10.7)Our bunkers in this area have inconsistent sand. Some is hard packed, some almost muddy, while others are soft and some have the dreaded 1/4" skiff of sand under the ball. For me, these conditions are too hard to adjust to and they cost me a lot of strokes due to inconsistent bunker play/conditions. Also, we have a lot of tight lies within 50 yards of the greens. Currently in my bag are wedges by Cleveland, Titleist Vokey, and Callaway. Now there is this C3i replacing the 60^ Vokey. Two playing partners have purchased this C3i wedge prior to me doing so. I have given them enough ridicule about this club to fill a small bunker. Well, low and behold I finally tried one of theirs out. It was a 65^. I threw a few balls in a bunker and tried a few different lies. Much to my chagrin, it was too easy to hit the shots out. My stomach started to ache from all the crow I was eating. Executing short to long shots just meant swing a little longer arc. The darn balls just popped out of the bunkers, as long as you set up square and hit about 1" behind the ball.I then tried hitting shots from tight fairway lies. Again, 90% of the shots were easier than a standard wedge with 10^ bounce. Also, these grooves were making range balls actually bite more than my new Cleveland RTX4 wedge.I bought the C3i 59^ wedge as I found my buddies 65^ to be too much loft. I had to hit flop shots with too much force to make the ball flop at over 15 yards. I find that the 59^ worked just fine on initial testing for flopping short sided practice shots.I will give this wedge more time in the bag and see how it plays out. The biggest drawback I have found so far is that the leading edge (see pic) of the club has already lost its paint after hitting 30-40 practice shots the first day. Not good. I will try to update this review at a later date.Hope this helps!
