Many reviewers noted the cheap quality of the rivets. They definitely won't hold an airplane together, but for crafts, they are the same quality as the Dritz sold in the fabric store.The secret came from one of the reviewers who recommended the Dritz Rivet Tool.Made ALL the difference. So surprising that the Dritz tool, (which is only slightly different than the included tools) made the rivet installation fail safe.The variety of this kit is really nice. Will be used on many projects.

I just started working with leather so it was pretty good for adding to the collection. This doesn't work well with thick leather however its really for thinner pieces. The best part about this kit was the screw ones because I know it won't snap off.

A little disappointed with the instructions. There wasn’t any! Took a few videos to learn what the different tools do and how to put the parts together.

I make a lot of bags and pouches so I decided to purchase this set. It has been a great purchase now that I've figured out how to use the setting tools, which is quite simple.If you are new to making grommets, be sure to choose the tool (the long bars - not sure what they are called) that is the same size of the eyelet you're using. Make a small hole in the material, push the grommet through the hole and place it on the round anvil that has the concave area. Place the eyelet ring over it and place the bar tool on top of it. Use a hammer to flatten and set the grommet. Easy peasy! :)

Just a tip, when using the rivets you need to hit on a hard surface.

The kit arrived with two identical hole punches and no 2.4mm snap setting tool so we returned it. The description on Amazon simply calls it a ‘pointed tool’. The quality of both the setting tools and rivets was very poor. The hole punches did not appear to be sharpened and the snap fasteners are very small in diameter. The plating on the rivets is extremely thin and will wear out. Not worth $31 even if all the parts were correct in the kit.
