Everything was very easy to install. Looks great.

They look great...until winter hits and they become covered in rust. You would think the company would have some rust-proofing on their product considering its use and expected exposure to cold, wet, and road salt.It was a simple install, but not worth the purchase to pair with my, at the time, brand new truck. Completely ruins the aesthetic.This review is being written just shy of two years after installation but the rust began within 6 months of installation.

I looked all over for a good quality running board for my new Ram 1500 Crew Cab. Finally settled on these.Box arrived yesterday so today I went out to install them. All parts there, professionally packaged, all accessories there, good instructions. Took me about 3 hrs. total and the longest part of that was striping the paint off the factory studs underneath for the brackets. It is recommended to do this so as not to break one of those factory installed bolts loose or damage it while tightening the nuts down.The easiest way is to use an M8 1.25 dye on them. Cleans the threads of overspray real good.These things looks fantastic and you have to love the added touch of the plastic covers for the bracket arms to give the running boards a real good finished look. I have seen some where the brackets are just exposed and that looked cheap, terrible, use your own term, but not these.Thought the price was right when I ordered them. After putting them on, I think I under paid a bit, but I am not telling anyone! Can't go wrong with these.

I give these things 5 stars across the board. Installation was simple and directions were clear. Nothing about the Tyger product was difficult. Like most of the reviews say, the threads on the ram 1500 were printed over and needed a little work. At first I tried torquing the nylon lock it on without the bracket for shirts and goggles and realized it was going to be a hassle to do over and over. I bought myself a die set and the wire wheel for my drill and just cleaned the threads with the wire wheel and ran the 8mm x 1.25 die over top of it to endure all the paint was off. Afterwards install was a breeze (FYI I did not buy the W2W, i had the standard 5” ones)I’m a big guy (6’ 4” ~300lbs) and these things are sturdy. I got on it and jumped up and down and the only movement is the trucks suspension. The wife is happy since these made it a little difficult for entry and exit and that’s primarily the reason I got them since she’s much shorter. Plus they give the truck a much more rugged look.Couldn’t be happier with the purchase, the price, or anything else about these. Thank you Tyger, will look into the bed cover next!

Christmas was a success! She was so excited seeing the Big Box with her name on it. Bought these for my wife’s truck 2020 Ram 1500 New Style front end with the short 5’7” bed. She had to have them installed as soon as possible and with 50* temps and a dry garage at my parents house they were on in the matter of an hour and a half, including clean up. They have a great footprint for a size 12 boot plenty to feel secure getting in and out or on and off of. The smoother looking part of the board is slightly textured but not to the eye from standing height. All in all great product. Let’s see how they test time

After doing some research I finally decided on these. Product arrived quickly and was packaged very well. Installation was straight forward and was able to complete it in about 1.5 hours by myself. Feels sturdy and looks great on the truck. This was installed on a 2022 Ram Rebel.

I really like these running boards. We bought this brand for our previous truck and the same brand for our tonneau cover as well. HOWEVER, this set started to rust after just 6 months. It's a shame. I'm disappointed.

These steps fit my 2021 Ram Rebel perfectly. It took less than 20 mins to install the entire kits - extremely easy to install - only need one person and a couple of tools.Value for the money and overall appearance makes this an exceptional purchase. These were a fraction of the cost the dealer wanted for factory steps, and I believe these are more attractive.These do have plastic caps on end. However it’s thick / dense plastic so I believe they will hold up well over time.Overall there are no cons for this set and they are a great value.
