Perfect board for Church and Theater!
I was looking for a board that would do 3 things. 1) Allow me to create scenes 2) Allow me to fade from scene to scene manually, and 3) Allow me to reassign DMX channels to faders. This board does all of those. I needed to reassign channels because I have RGB fixtures, which take up 8 channels each. But I only needed to control 5 channels of each fixture. So I was able to skip the unused channels when I reassigned the faders.Someone said in a previous comment that you cannot reassign a channel from page B to a fader on page A. That’s not true. I was able to toggle easily between pages when assigning faders. So, for example, I assigned channel 37 to fader 17, channel 44 to fader 24, etc.In Scene Mix mode, I am able to fade in and out any of the 12 scenes I created. There are 4 pages, so I can actually record 48 scenes if I need to. Cross fading is as easy as sliding up the fader for the new scene, while sliding down the fader for the previous scene. Exactly what I was looking for.So yeah, I’m really happy I found this board. Now I’m set for our children’s Christmas play. 😊

and excellent Chauvet build quality as expected
Took a while to figure out how to operate. All these DMX systems subscribe to different protocols, so it's always a learning experience with a new light board. Works very well, very stable, and excellent Chauvet build quality as expected.

Nice small stage board
A great board with a lot of control over the lights and programs and easy to use. Only good for a small setup, as you only have 48 total channels for all the lights to use, so if you have a large variety of lights you might want a bigger, more versatile board. I'll use this board to control the Par 56 lights and light bars, and my other board for all the specialty stuff.

Great Board
I've been disappointed with some of the lower-grade Chauvet boards because they didn't have some of the features I was looking for, but this board had it all. Love the direct audio input and the ability to sync lights to music. Everything works great. Easy to set up.

subpar product
The first one that we recieved had a broken slider but was functional. The second one didn't work. The third one worked for two weeks and then died. Not going to try a fourth.

Has more faders but less options then other Chauvet lighting Consoles
I own a Chauvet Obey 70 and wanted to get this mixer to replace it because it listed a few features that I wanted along with more sliders. I bought this to use in a theater environment and the Master A and B sliders seemed perfect for what we needed. Also the ability to create steps in scenes and just hit a button to go to the next scene and tell it the time to fade to the next step is very useful in theater use.Once I received the unit and started playing with it I could not figure out how to control DMX channels above 48. After reading a few things online and calling tech support with Chauvet, I found out that you can only control up to DMX channel 48 with this unit. This is a severe limitation since many new RGB style lamps can take up a lot of channels and you will run out with just a few lights. For example I have LED RGB floods that use 8 channels and you can not change it. It only takes a few of these lights to quickly run out.Another limitation that was confirmed by tech support is you can only change the Physical Fader Assignment within Page A or Page B. This means if you have lights on DMX Channel 1-24 which is page A and DMX Channel 25-48 which is page B, you can not re-map them all together which you need if you want to do live lighting mixing and can not be switch back and forth between Page A and Page B.The only use I can see for this mixer is if you are using standard dimmer packs to control theater lights and don't plan on using more then 24 DMX Channels. It really is a shame that you can't control DMX channels above 48 and the limitation of mixing the Physical Fader Assignment of the 48 DMX channels together so you don't have to switch between Page A and B. If they could fix these two things then it would be a very good lighting console. Still looking for a decent lighting console in this price range.
