Rubies Child's Feathered Fashions Snow Angel Costume, Large

My granddaughter was in a church Christmas program playing the part of an angel. I saw this costume and ordered it for her to wear. The size was spot on and true to size but the material was too thin. A long sleeve white top was needed as well as white tights so that the costume did not become see through. The wings were easy to wear and very pretty as was the headband halo. She looked like the angel she was playing.

** UPDATED 8/23/13 **It's almost Halloween again, and I was so disappointed with this costume, I decided this review needed an added warning.I rarely leave reviews on the products purchased on Amazon, but this was absolutely the WORST costume. It's amazing to me that anyone has left a glowing review of this item. Be leery.Save your time and money!** END RANT **On opening, I noticed an extremely strong odor and put this costume in the washer right away. After two times through the wash cycle, I threw the overlay (with feathered arms) away - the smell seemed to have gotten stronger! - and at that point, it wasn't worth returning for the money spent. The long white dress did not smell as bad as the overlay after washing, but that's not saying much. It still smells terrible after sitting for several days and is not wearable. The wings and halo seem OK, but we haven't actually taken them out of the packaging.In the end, we got a silver fabric belt, a cheap tinsel halo and flimsy wings. If you purchase this item, direct contact with any other part of the costume is not recommended. It's cheaply made, overtreated and poorly constructed - and not even close to the quality in the photo shown. I think I bought it for under $15, but recommend that you don't spend your money!

My daughter didn't wear the top layer because it was too stiff and scratchy for her, but we loved it otherwise! Definitely need something on underneath.

Product was great with clothes underneath, and so pretty for my daughter’s Halloween costume. We loved the headband too!

Cute costume for the price, however it left a glitter trail where ever my child went. Aso she wore it for an hour before Halloween and parts of it ended up falling off the day of Halloween when she put it back on.

My daughter loves this costume. The wings have a feather trim, not just glitter and the straps are very thin so the disappear into the costume easily. The gown is actual 2 gowns, 1 basic white sheath and the other a sparkle overlay. There is plenty of room for more clothing underneath if the weather is cold. I also found it true to size, my daughter wears sz 6 and this fits perfectly.

A great price! True to size according to the chart. The fabric is thin it’s a pretty simple costume. The sleeves are really cute. All the accessories came with the outfit. My niece loved it as her Halloween costume. Overall pleased with the purchase.
