Great shower seat
I had surgery on my foot and was unable to walk for three months. My physical therapist at the rehab told me I needed a shower seat if I was to go home. I hadn't even thought of that. I found this one here at Amazon. I ordered it. Arrived quickly and packed well enough to protect it if it were bounced around during shipping. What I liked about this shower seat it has multiple height adjustment holes so it should fit into the average tub.It has a textured seat area making slipping off less likely. It is quite comfortable to use if one is having a need in this area. It stays put wherever I place it because it has nice thick rubber tips on each leg. Cleaning it is a breeze. I just used my shower massager with a brush and normal bathroom cleaning products, The quality of material used to manufacture this seat is not junk at all. In fact, it's one of the better seats I've seen. It's very easy to assemble only tool needed is a screw driver. I would recommend this product as well-made and affordable to those that may rely on reviews when they need an item they may not be familiar with.

A Good Seat But Not for the Modern Tub
This Moen tub and shower stool is well made, sturdy, and easy to assemble. I am a 68-year-old woman, and I had no trouble handling it. Although it was sturdy, the stool was lightweight and easy to lift and carry. I would have given this item a grade of A+ except for one very important problem with it: It is 20" wide and would not fit well in most conventional bathtubs; the legs would ride up along the side curves of the tub, which would make it hard to maneuver it and yourself while you are standing. I think a round stool, which is also sold by Amazon.com, would be better suited for use in a modern bathtub or shower. I will certainly purchase a round bath and shower stool from Amazon.com if they will take back the rectangular one that I cannot use.

Comfy and useful
I bought this seat in my first pregnancy because I had trouble standing up for a long time without my belly support, so I bought this seat and it made showering fun again. I could shave my legs without problems and I was able to use my loofah as I love to do while bathing and also took my time brushing my long hair. After I had my baby, during bathtime, I would put the baby tub on top of this seat while I sat on the side of the bathtub or the toilet so I could secure it with my legs. This was heaven sent for my back and also for my section as I healed. As my baby graduated to the regular tub, I moved this seat to the guest bathroom. You would not believe how many guests loved it so much that they bought one for themselves. I myself bought 2 more for my parents and my in-laws. I should also mention that it is very sturdy, by the end of my pregnancy, I was about 210 lbs and it held my weight without any problems. My mother in law is also overweight and the seat held her weight without complaints :)

versatile bench
Because of foot surgery, I needed a bench on which to sit in the bathtub. No water on the injured foot and no weight bearing, made this little bench very helpful. I found out, however, that I was able to take a regular shower almost immediately. It served its purpose well. However, I have used it much more in the bathroom itself. It provides a good place to sit for whatever reason I may have. It bears up under weight well. I did have some trouble getting all the legs the same length, but I think that was due to my immobility. Bearing no weight on the injured foot made it hard to balance. There is no one at my house who can do this for me. Once it was correctly assembled, it has worked like any good bench should. I do appreciate the fact that you can change the legs to different heights. I also find that it doesn't seem unwieldy or likely to fall over easily.

No mold! Great product and well made!
This is in my shower and for a year now it has never gotten any mold what so ever. I have never taken it out and it never needs cleaned. I checked it out thoroughly underneath and it is clean. You can adjust the height and can hold your weight.UPDATE 11/7/2018I just ordered another Moen DN7025 Adjustable Tub and Shower Seat because with rough usage I bent the bars underneath. Mind you I have had this product since 2012 and use on a daily basis in my shower. I still give the product an A+ for the price and the reliability. It WOULD of held up but besides using it to shower, shave and relax I also use this as a stool to brush my long haired cats so as to contain the hair in one place. Pulling the stool with the cats on it bent the underneath of it. Excellent product! Gets great daily use!
