I live in Vegas which is known for having incredibly hard water (250+ ppm). Went online to look for a softener and after a bunch of research settled on this one. I wanted to go for a salt system because according to reviews salt systems generally outperform non-salt systems in terms of water softening.The package is EXTREMELY heavy. Requires two people to lift. I had to buy a heavy duty cart from Home Depot to lift.As for installation I hired a plumber $760 to install. Expensive? Yes. But damned if I was gonna set it up myself- it takes me 4 hours to screw some metal panes together, I have absolutely no knowledge of handiwork.My plumber was great. Installed it in 3.5 hours to the side of my house. Installed an enclosure to protect it from the weather (somewhat).The water in the house went from 250+ ppm down to under 25. I couldn’t believe it. It’s insane how effective this is.I’m sure other water softener systems are also good. As long as you install it properly then you shouldn’t have any issues with water hardness. This one just happened to be within my price range and was not too difficult to install (for the plumber).GENERAL PIECE OF ADVICE- if the water softener system has a local office with sales rep and a whole infrastructure, they’re probably overpriced and will try to screw you, for example Kinetico. Just hire a plumber and you’ll get the same service.

System was simple to set up and use. Exactly what I was looking for at 1/3 of the price a professional installer quoted. We installed the entire well tank and filtration system. Directions are clear amd easy to follow. Don't forget to open the house filter and remove the plastic wrap on the filter itself.

Great water quality. I've been using mine for about 2 months now the change in water quality from hard florida city water was immediate. And has a noticeable effect on the health of your hair

This is a wonderful water softener/filter and I would for sure say every home that can afford it should have one in installed.

A key filter was loose in the softener. Plumber followed their diagnostic steps, and they agreed to send a replacement quickly as they were familiar with is production and quality control error.I should have returned it all and started over!I would not recommend their product or the company!

The instructions are not as detailed as they should be for installing. With this being said, our system was installed but didn’t work at first leading to mold in the brine tank and eventually the resin tank. No amount of flushing the resin tank removed the mold and we ended up having to get a different system. It was a good size for the house but did leak quite a bit due to incorrectly installed o rings from the manufacturer.

Easy to install I did add two flex lines that were not included this made install much easier I used a pro-sure well filter and this made a complete system the water is soft clean and had no smell we did get a slight taste that went away after a week or so of use and back flush
