Hoya82mm UV and IR Cut Screw-in Filter

Purchased mainly for astro-imaging. Functions perfectly so far for my standard photography. No astro-imaging yet due to inclement weather. Probably deserves five stars.

I am using this on my digital with a built-in zoom. I use UV filters to protect the lens - had never used a UV/IR filter before, and I was a bit concerned about its effect when I realized it has slight color reflections in light. However, it is working very well. It certainly hasn't degraded my photos, and I would say it's probably improved them. It's a high quality filter. I recommend it.

I never gave much importance to the use of filters that was not exclusively to lens protection. However, just to try, I bought a better quality filter. I noticed that the old filter was producing reflex, not avoiding them. I fully recomend the use of filters that have some good quality anti-reflective layers. The price indeed can be very high accordind to the protection level. Due to high price the last star is empty.

This IR cut filter eliminated the magenta tone on the GoPro camera with a modified lens system I hacked together. The original GoPro lens must have had a built in IR cut. Colors are normal again wit this filter.

I got this for my full-spectrum modified 6d. I noticed a lot of reflection/ghosting from the filter. I also noticed the center of the frame was much more pink than the outsides of the frame, which would suggest a gradient across the filter. I had to return this. Hoya does make good filters, but this filter didn't fit the application I was using it in.

Worked as described on my ursa mini 4.6k ... Not sure if my sensor needed after the 4.8 calibrate sensor update ... However I still use it

The Hoya 77mm HMC UV-IR digital multi-coated slim filter perfectly fits the lens of my Nikon D700. While I haven't yet been able to actually try it out, it came highly recommended to me by a professional. I suspect I won't be disappointed.

Este producto se recibió en el plazo correcto (hoy mismo). Una vez abierto el embalaje de Amazon, extraigo la caja don de viene el filtro, y ésta está con las solapas abiertas y sin ningún precinto. Con el filtro en mano y sin probarlo siquiera, le observo y detecto dos pequeñas rayaduras en el cristal del filtro (En las fotografías se pueden observar en la parte superior del cristal del filtro). No puedo valorar el producto ni por calidad ni por su funcionamiento. He solicitado devolución del mismo y el envío de otro igual, ya que estoy interesado en este filtro. Estoy pendiente de la solución o resolución final de esta gestión. Una vez tenga el nuevo, y si no es defectuoso, ampliaré con más conocimiento de causa mi valoración al respecto. Espero que sea satisfactorio.Modifico valoración y amplío información:En 24 horas he recibido un nuevo filtro y éste correcto y en perfectas condiciones. Buen servicio por parte de Amazon. Sobre el filtro no tengo aún una opinión porque no lo he utilizado. Mi intención es utilizarlo como protector de lente y, aunque un poco caro, espero que también tenga un efecto positivo, dada su calidad anunciada, sobre la calidad y nitidez de las fotografías. The HOYA UV&IR Cut is a specialized filter that has the ability to cut both UV rays below 390nm and IR rays above 700mn leaving just the light rays in the visible spectrum passing through the filter and into the camera. Extraordinario filtro, sustituye al hama que tenía previamente y he ganado nitidez.Además el tratamiento anti-reflejos es perfecto.Algo caro, por eso no llega a ser un cinco estrellas pero muy recomendable si buscas algo en consonancia con un buen equipo.

Good, solid UV/IR filter.I bought this to put on the front of a Coronado PST solarscope, to reduce the IR incident on the internal optics. 52mm is the perfect size and it threads onto the front beautifully.

Ich habe den Filter für eine Vollspektrum Kamera gekauft. Bei derartigen Kameras ist der interne Filter, der UV und IR sperrt, entfernt um auch spezielle Aufnahmen (natürlich mit geeigneten Filtern) in diesen Bereichen machen zu können. Um auch die übliche Fotografie im sichtbaren Bereich machen zu können , braucht es wieder ein UV und IR Sperrfilter.Dieser Filter sperrt aber offensichtlich nicht so gut bzw. anders wie ein interner Filter im IR Bereich . Ohne Weißabgleich ist das Bild sehr rotstichig. Mit Weißabgleich geht es einigermaßen, aber man sieht immer noch einen Unterschied zur normalen Fotografie.Weil der Filter doch etwas funktioniert und einwandfrei verarbeitet ist, 3 Sterne.
