Well it didnt work for me. After id fitted it i turned the engine on and i got the usual view from the rear camera. I then thought now for the moment of truth. I put it in reverse gear and was delighted to see a clear and stable image with the reverse guide lines. So i moved it back into park. The image remained the same, still on dipped reverse view with the guide lines. It did eventually return to the normal view but it must have taken close to a minute. I tried every conceivable wiring combination and nothing worked. I just need to find a device that will give me a stable voltage when in reverse gear and no voltage at all when I'm in drive

Fixes the issue of reverse lamp positive being pulsed. If you're connecting the rev lamp positive to something which works when in acc position with engine off, but fails when the engine is on, you'll need one of these. As others have said, tapping off the reverse bulbs 12v may need one of these if it's not a constant 12v.

This little device did what is was supposed to do at least in my case. I bought an Auto-Vox M1 Car Reversing Camera Kit for my daughters 2006 VW petrol golf. When the car was running there was a lot of lines / interference on the LCD screen so either the voltage was fluctuating or their was noise on the 12 volt line, not there when ignition just turned on and engine not running. Ordered and this little guy, installed and perfect now. Saved me the hassle of removing the camera and all the cabling from the car which I had routed behind panels and returning to the supplier etc.

Due to interference with my reverse camera thought I would purchase one of these. Fit it with instructions I found but unfortunately didn't work for me. Still had interference even when attempting fitting it different ways.

Installed a reversing camera on to my Merecdes c220. Camera was cutting out after 3 or so seconds when reversing. For 6 pounds, I thought it worth a try. Not like you will notice 6 pounds missing if it didnt. Just fitted this morning. In 3 minutes, I now have a reversing camera working prefectly.

Great product finally fixed the interference issue with the reverse camera..Great quality! Does what it says on the tin.

This is a good product and anyone that installs a review or backup camera, that has interference, should install one of thiese... They work wonders... I did 3 installations and used 3 of them.. All worked great..
