Better then factory !! Great fit !!
This is MUCH BETTER then the factory installed Atwood light that came installed on my 2012 Monterey 204FS. My original light had gotten crushed under a bulkhead top finishing board while tying up during at very low tide. It was all plastic and really didn't fill the teardrop shaped space in the bow. The Perko is much better made and fills the space perfectly. It has a full metal chrome top (base and lense are plastic). It looks great and has a very bright light.Installation was pretty easy for most "do it yourselfers" but a couple of things to note. This uses a 2 screw mount and my old one was 3. Of course none of the holes lined up so I had to drill new ones. It DOES NOT come with screws. While I could I have used the old ones I used new stainless just to be sure I had a good bite in the new holes. I filled the old holes and new holes with marine silicone caulk before installing. The other key item is the 2 lead wires coming out of the light are stranded BUT fully soldered below the outer jacket/insulation. The wires in the boat were plain stranded wire. I would HIGHLY recommend you have a soldering iron available to insure a full secure connection. Having shrink wrap to cover the connection would be a bonus but good quality electrical tape will also work.I HIGHLY recommend this light.

Great replacement for Four Winns Horizon boat
Great replacement for a 1999 Four Winn's Horizon 180 boat. The original navigation light was pretty small and this one fit perfectly. I had to drill new mounting holes but other than, was a quick replacement.

Replacement
This was an exact replacement for the original Perko navigation light on my 2004 Crownline boat. As others have noted, it is still a halogen bulb instead of an LED bulb, so it runs hotter with a shorter lifespan. They do now make H3 LED replacement bulbs,so it would be easy for them, or me, to upgrade.

I only used the new lens and it clipped into the existing light so I can't comment on wiring the new light to the boat.
