Barely handy, and can fix it myself.
The lock on my 2003 coleman mesa popup broke. This fit perfect!!! Someone as bad at handyman things as me, can even install it. Great product.

Exact replacement for my Winnebago
I replaced a locking latch on my RV's outside shower. I wanted to have a thumb latch for it making it easier to drain/winterize and to use. It was an easy replacement--just be sure to do your depth measurement. I re-used the locking flat metal piece that is screwed to the end. This was easy to do.

I installed this as a replacement on my 2008 Fleetwood Terry 250RLS. The original is corroded. Perfect fit. I still used the little original cam bar that swings.

BEFORE you order. Get the specs.
There's nothing wrong with this piece. It simply won't work for my application. It would be helpful if it had two shaft nuts, then I could use it. But it is too long to catch on the lip I want to secure it to.. I can always find another use for it. But I should have been more attentive to the size, depth, and what it comes with.

As good as the originals on my camper
One of my compartments had a key lock on it, which was not necessary. I bought this to access the compartment without using a key. It’s simple as drilling a hole and installing the latch.Quality seems fine. Works as advertised.

Good alternative to keyed locks if security not an issue.
Fits standard small key lock cutouts. The hole size required is 16mm (5/8") across the flats and 19mm (3/4")ø. Fitted in existing holes with just a small amount of filing out. Access now easier as I don't to find or fumble with keys.
