Classic for a reason
Beautiful classic perfume. The first perfume marketed directly to women. Spicy, lots of cinnamon, good longevity, fades out beautifully. This perfume is old enough to draw social security but still in production, and I think that says something!

Oriental Spicy
Exactly as I remembered. My mom used to wear this and I was missing her so purchased it for that reason alone. It’s a very bold and heavy scent. This perfume is not for the meek. It’s an oriental spice and one that should only be worn in the winter months imo. It’s a very heavy scent. My mom also used to wear Opium (the original version), White Linen, Beautiful, Red, White Shoulders and I’m sure a few I can’t remember. For most of my life she also wore Chanel No 5 only because my Dad bought it for her every single Christmas (since I was a little girl) until one day (when I was an adult) he found out she had never liked it. She wore it for him because she loved him.I’m glad I bought this perfume.

Smells Like An Old Cat Lady
If you enjoy a smell reminiscent of an elderly woman who has a severe hoarding problem and sleeps with cats who have no litter, yet insists on spraying a camel-hued monstrosity all about herself—then buy this perfume. I refuse to believe that women aged 70 and older liked these scents when they were young. It is not dewy, it is heavy and smells like moth balls that have lost their way and settled themselves inside a bottle of cheap vodka infused with flowers from those trees that smell like stale fish (if you’re from the South you know what I’m talking about).
