SO NICE I'LL HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING TO TOW
This hitch fit my 2013 Ford Flex perfectly. It snugs up just under the bumper and looks good. The position is different from the OEM hitch which would have replaced the center lower part of the bumper. However retrofitting an actual OEM hitch is too expensive for my taste. The instructions were clear, but it took a bit longer because the rubber donuts holding the exhaust pipes in place wouldn't budge after an hour of lubing, tugging and prying. However, the hitch installs in the same position as the rear muffler hangers, which swing out of the way and there's enough flex in the center pipe hanger to allow enough muffler drop to get the hitch in place. You can get a bolt started on each side to hold things while starting the other bolts through the muffler hangers. Since they're attached by a rubber donut, there's enough wiggle room to remove the first bolt and reinstall it through the muffler hanger bracket. The hitch is heavy enough that it should be lifted by two people, but I used a floor jack instead of another people and it worked out fine. I purchased a wiring harness and plug holder too, which made things plug and play. There are videos on the Curt site and youtube which show the procedure more clearly than written instructions.

Exactly as described
Great product works as described hardest part of installing it was removing the old bolts.

Great hitch, but installation can be arduous.
I expected a good fit and great engineering, and that's what was delivered. The instructions show a Flex with exhaust on one side, but it DOES fit the two-sided duals. I used the suggested exhaust hanger tool to lower the exhaust on my 2018 Flex. It was definitely worth buying. I removed the exhaust hangers with deep-well 1/2"-drive sockets and ratchet. I used two of the old bolts to hold the hitch in place while I replaced the hangers and new bolts. I also had a 3' piece of 2x2 lumber in the receiver to give me leverage to raise and lower the unit while on my back under the car.I ran into a snag, though. The left rear bolt hole didn't line up with the frame's weld-nut. After spending a half hour chasing the threads in the nut after cross-threading the bolt, I spent another hour with a Dremel, enlarging the mounting hole.I was under the car for over four hours. The wiring took another two hours to fish the plugs through blind holes, but the kit was worth it.The RV dealer wanted $500 to do this job. I saved about half that to install the same hitch myself, but I don't want to do this again. Not if the holes don't line up.

Nice hitch, installation suggestion...
If you have a dual exhaust Ford Flex like me, you can avoid messing with the rubber exhaust hangers (a second person would be a huge help). I just used a floor jack to support things as I went. Unbolt the rear exhaust hangers from the body and lower the right muffler to get the hitch resting on it, then lower the left muffler just enough to slip the left side of the hitch onto it. From here put the jack under the middle of the hitch and raise it into position against the floor, just loose enough to allow positioning over the bolt holes. Position the exhaust hangers over the hitch flanges and get the new bolts all started by hand, then go back and tighten them all down properly. Took me about 40 minutes in the driveway, did not jack up the vehicle. Hope this helps someone else!

Easy install
I did this by myself with the aid of a jack. Really easy install. I shot the hangers with WD40 and they slid off and on easily.
