It worked fine out of package with the preset default delay within the specs. I purchased this because it was stated as adjustable delay from 2 seconds to whatever, I forget, but out of package it was 20 seconds. When I popped the back off to turn the pot down closer to the 2 second interval the delay bounced all over the place randomly. I would say it is just cheap and even though it says it is adjustable, to not mess with it. As is, it is what you get and it probably would have worked. Four stars would have been generous, but three is fair. The product works but they don't really expect you to adjust it. I'll take away the generous star because if you advertise the adjustment it ought to work. The next week I purchased the sensky, it cost a couple dollars more, but it did come in a retail package, rather than in plain baggy. I would guess it was probably a "second" since there are many variations listed on amazon and many prices. Most products have the same description with only slight differences in the specs. One of the products does say to not set at minimum delay because it will malfunction, so I gave one star back because it might have been this product, so I'll take fault and not return. It still works and i'll rebuild it later with a better part.I'm not knocking this product, but i did expect a little better out of this since supernight is billed as the bestselling on amazon in many of the LED components. It works, but just wasn't reliable for adjustment. If you want a simple motion detector switch to fire up an LED project and at the pricepoint by all means, buy this with out hesitation. If you want something that has reliable delay spend a little more, but read the reviews and compare those to what the specs advertise before purchasing.

Nice, tested at 24V fine
very quick way to get your strip led lights on a motion senor.I tested it on both 12v and 600led 24v 2.5A , and it did not choke. The sensor looks like a 180degree , seems more like 110. like it would be good to "aim" at the sense location, or put it up high. There is a secret, inside .a Qualified electrohandy person could carefully open the case.Inside they will find (well in mine) a Trimpot YAY.with proper tool and lite of hand , a person could carefully adjust the dial.Default timing is ~17 seconds on timethe trimpot will adjust in usable increments to ~5 MinutesFeature :-)

Adequate for many purposes, not as good as it could be.
Unit I got has a 56K resistor [563] where there is supposed to be (I think) a 5.6K [562] resistor. This resistor is in series with the timer trimpot and determines the minimum time adjustment. Additionally, C14 is missing entirely, which may be OK -- it could be part of one of the omitted features on this board. The unit takes a long time to settle down when first powered up, which is something that the manufacturer could fix -- it would be an improvement if it didn't enable the output until it was ready to work properly. The current behavior is fairly innocent when this is used to control LED lighting and the like, but not so good when it is used to open a drawer or similar.

Working with security camera - needed own power supply.
My DVR for a security camera was detecting too much as motion. Was also recording when lighting changed. I only wanted to record when someone was there. PIR sensor added near camera - placed at 12v supply to camera. Uses same plug and jack that camera has so very easy install. I did have to take the camera off a 4 way power splitter and put it on its own power supply. Found a review by someone else that mentioned something about needing a dedicated ground. When on the four way splitter the switch stayed on. The set screw adjustment inside the switch housing works - tried from lowest - just a few seconds to highest - several minutes. Using indoors - not waterproof.
