Anti-slip to the max!
So my maternity pants kept sliding down and it was super annoying (no rubberized waistband) - but after sewing this on the inside of the pants, no more sliding down! Comfy to wear against my skin all day, even in the heat.

Helped counter slippery lining in my new kilt I made
When lining the new kilt I was making, I used the satiny fabric typical of a suit coat lining and discovered on my first couple of wearing that I had made a big mistake because there was no friction to keep the kilt from sliding down.I remembered in the 70's there was a brand of men's slacks called "Sans-a-Belt" that used a similar waistband, so I took a chance and installed this instead of completely ripping out and replacing the lining with some other type of fabric.This was a success and the kilt stays firmly in place even while wearing my slickest polyester shirt.
