Functional and stylish
Ordered the unit with black finish. The stand was well packaged and the unit arrived undamaged. It is a matte finish. The unit is functional and fits my needs 100%. I have a 14” laptop positioned on the unit and it fits perfectly. The unit is fully supported and the arms articulate to the desired angle for the laptop. The arm hinges are sufficiently still to hold the laptop without sagging. The two cushioned tabs at the bottom hold the laptop without sliding. I have the laptop body sitting at an approx. 30 degree angle and the screen bottom is then approx. 8 inches from the desktop. The unit is stylish and looks great on my desk. If I had any complaint, it would be the company logo visible on the unit base; with that removed it would receive a perfect score from me. The logo is not overly obtrusive (1.5 in x 0.5 in) and the silver color matches the brushed aluminum discs on the stand’s arm hinges.

It is sturdy and can be adjusted to accommodate different heights.
This is probably one of the best purchases I’ve made recently. I’ve been working from home and have been adjusting and re-adjusting my workspace for months. I’m 5’9 tall and have tried everything to make my workspace ergonomic. This great stand is super sturdy and holds my laptop as well as my 22 inch screen. I ordered one first to see if it worked for me. I can raise my laptop screen to a height so that the upper edge aligns with my eyes. I could even raise it higher if I needed to. I work on a flexible stand up desk and this is working in standing and seating position as I can adjust it. It’ll also work with my screen. I just ordered two more stands as I’ll also use it for my personal laptop. I no longer have to bend my neck down. It’ll save my back and shoulders! I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s also made of high quality materials, no plastic. I love it!

Awesome!
I use this to elevate my laptop to the same level as my external monitors, which are on monitor arms. Before, it was such a pain in my neck (literally) to look down at the laptop screen and try to use it in combination with my external monitors when it was sitting on the desk. Now I use it as a 3rd monitor all the time and love having that extra real estate.Big bonus: My laptop was running pretty hot driving these two external monitors and handling some development workloads. It now runs much cooler with it elevated, the air access underneath it, and the aluminum pulling the heat away.I got the black model, and I love the finish. It looks great. The stand is very stable. It takes a little force and trial/error to get it into the exact shape you want, but stays solid once it's there. If you want to adjust your stand often, probably not what you want, but works great for me where I travel occasionally (so easy to fold up and pack) and work on-site at client locations, and otherwise stays on my home office desk ready to go every morning.

A huge neck saver and necessity while Zooming
This was a purchase just to try it out. I really liked the design, much needed heat dispersion as my MacBook Air runs hot will doing all these Zooms! I really like the padding where it meets the MacBook, and was very impressed with how sturdy the joints are and how stiff they are! That means I do not have to worry about it not staying in position or drooping while I use it, even resting my hands on it while typing! It is awesome! Much better than I was expecting. Ordered another for my daughter because she was experiencing neck pain from looking down so much while studying, and Zooming with her classes. Now she can prop it up higher so her sight line is level with the screen raised on this stand. It will also hold an extremely large history textbook just fine without buckling, which again, helps her line of sight taking the stress off the back of her neck!If you worry about looking down at your desk, or laptop a lot, or reading books bent over, this stand should not disappoint. It has been a huge saver for myself and my daughter while this remote learning is taking place. When I go back into the classroom, I will still be using this stand so I can get optimal positioning. A great buy that I do not question having spent money on. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Nice but cheap lol haha
Does the job, but needs bottom support or will tip. I use a mac pro 13'. When I DJ with this, I have to set my mixer flat under it so that my laptop or cdj etc. doesn't tip over. I do like that it folds all the way up and down, so 5 stars for that characteristic. But overall 4 stars because this usually doesn't stand up on its on without some support. Cheap metal lol. Folds all the way down and ways to store in backpack when moving equipment.

Sturdy design with good ergonomics
I needed a laptop stand that would be able to sit up high enough to prevent my neck from getting injured during long periods of studying. The stand, so far seems pretty sturdy. I was able to adjust it pretty easily without any fuss and it holds in place.I have a 15.6" samsung galaxy book 2 pro 360 laptop which is pretty thin and lightweight. It hasn't fallen off as there are four grip like pads on the stand deck surface. So far it's been very helpful with preventing neck strain for me. I'm glad I found this as a solution.

No regret purchase!
I have had this for the last month since I have had to work on my laptop at home due to coronavirus. My neck was hurting from looking down and squinting. On top of that I also have my ergonomical rollermouse red which uses a lot of space in the front.I really like this riser, slightly cheaper at $45 than the Nulaxy at $54. I have not found any rough or uneven edges as others have complained about. You have to put a little muscle into extending the parts, but I think that’s a huge plus that it doesn’t wriggle or will collapse. It is not that hard to extend. You just need to put a little elbow grease into it. This worried me at first because of my carpal tunnel, but it’s not too hard to open up. It is stable. I love the ability to flatten to a few inches so I’ll be able to transport to work when we start up again. The bottom is also flat enough to put a keyboard on top of.Love this product.Edit: After using the product for almost two years, the hinges have become looser and sometimes flattens with a little pressure but still works.
