This easily replaced the existing part. I had replaced the door bell at the door without impact. This did the trick.

I recently bought a doorbell camera and needed to upgrade my doorbell transformer to a higher voltage. This fit the bill perfectly!

Transformer did its job. Doorbell has not worked for 10 years. Finally remembered to try to fix it (I never ring my own doorbell), watched amazing You Tube videos on the anatomy of a doorbell system and - after much searching - finally found the transformer up in my attic. Testing with multi-meter showed 120V going in, but 0V coming out - so transformer was culprit. Ordering was easy (I made sure to order a UL Listed part) and delivery was fast. Only issue with this transformer is the plastic nut that secures it to the power box. It is difficult to seat properly on the threads and when I finally got it seated, I was afraid to over tighten it against the plate - result being the transformer is slightly loose. When this one dies, I'll use the metal nut saved from the old part.

Works just fine. But the leads are a bit short. Make sure you can reach a breaker before mounting the transformer.

Great price and fixed my door bell

I used this transformer to replace an older transformer which was part of a NuTone doorbell system. The older unit was damaged during construction, so it needed to be replaced with a similar 16vAC output transformer. I first went to the local big box store to get a (tri-mode) transformer made by Hampton Bay) but that didn’t work because of the mounting method I needed. So it had to go back. I found this 16v output transformer on Amazon, and it worked perfectly. This model has the threaded end which just mounts onto a plate with the included mounting nut. I wired it up. Door bell works perfectly, All good. Perfect fit

This transformer fits good in the outlet by the breaker box. Now the house bell works just fine. Will purchase the exact product next time around.
