Worked well

Although its a little pricey for what I am using it for, it turns out that price is over-shadowed by functionality. This unit can be programmed to run in forward or reverse, limited top speed from 500 to 7000 RPM (big plus) and the whole thing comes with a pretty smart base for mounting. I used this setup to run an inexpensive leather stitching machine (made to run by hand cranking). I was able to lower the max RPM on the control unit to run it at full throttle that resembles a fast hand cranking! I also was able to connect it to a home made foot pedal. Overall, an awesome motor with a lot of flexibility.

The media could not be loaded. This was super easy to install. Anyone struggling with this is most likely experiencing "user error". Wish I had gotten this years ago. The governor option is amazing for the delicate fabrics we often work with. We will be purchasing another one.

This motor is about a third of the traditional clutch motor and does not sacrifice any power. I now have more control than I could have ever achieved with a traditional style motor. I have replaced all clutch motors with servos.

3/4 Hp. It is a monster on my Juki 1508!!It will sew through any thing!

Now that I have the motor installed, I'm thrilled at how much more speed control I get over my clutch motor-- I can do single stitches now!Annoyed at the cheap f'ing Chinese parts. What the hell is wrong with that country? The bolts and nuts are of such low quality I had to dig out and use my metric tap and die set. FYI-- for the tension bolt, M10x 1.5. It is an insult to the consumer.Hopefully the motor will last awhile. But, Made in China-- you get what you pay for. I should have bought a SailRite.

Using this on my drill press. Works GREAT! No more changing belt to obtain RPM.
