Ortega Taco Meal Kits, Tortilla Bowl, 5.7 Ounce

My family loves taco bowls. We make a million variations. My mom and I also love salad in a bowl. It's a good way to jazz up boring food.They crisp up quickly in the oven. The molds are premade so none of that fold Flap A in Slot B crap. You just flop them over the mold and toss in the oven. A toddler could do it. I know because I did it and that's saying something.They weren't stale or brittle or shaped in triangles or something weird like that. The flavor is exactly what you're expecting. If you want to add a bit more flavor you can melt a tiny bit of butter and add spices and brush over the tortilla once it's on the mold. But don't go crazy with the butter or you'll end up with a mess.The size is perfect for a full taco bowl. You can really fit a lot in there, even more if you want to pile it high.At this price, you'd be crazy to pass up this deal.

These worked well but Not what I expected

was not easy to fit in the premade pan the tortilla didnt want to stay in. After cooked I like the crunch but tasted very much like a plain cracker and pretty much the same texture

I haven't tried these yet. But I can't wait. I didn't know until reading close up they are one time use.

We love making taco salads but no stores in our area carry these kits. They are perfect for an easy delicious meal

They are delicious but a little smaller than I expected. But still great for the money you spend.

This order arrived in a timely fashion. Thanks. However, the "Use By" date is December 20, 2018. I buy this product because we're "Two" and will never use 12 kits between now and then. Also, when I was putting the boxes away I could hear that the taco shells might be broken as I heard rattling in each box. I opened one box/kit, and sure enough, shell fragments were inside cellophane bag. Too much trouble to return so I'm sharing the boxes/kits with my sister. Maybe next time, you could send me box/kits with a better "Use By" date and whole, unbroken taco shells. Maybe pack better and mark "Fragile"? Thanks. Kathleen EmersonP.S.
