Works great but heats up on one side and fan could be better
We've used this to strictly heat our master bedroom and bathroom, which is large at about 500sq/ft area. This unit has worked great, the remote is confusing and the battery didn't last long but the temperature control on the unit is pretty good.It takes maybe 20-30 minutes to heat up to 70 from 55, but only turns on for a few minutes an hour to keep it warm. We haven't even seen a significant increase in our power bill, it's actually dropped a few dollars.COULD BE BETTERGreat unit for the price, was about to purchase a name brand unit for twice the price until I seen the amazon compared product...for the price it's great but also the fan blowing the heat out could be stronger and the left side of the unit does warm up pretty warm which is why don't put anything near the unit! The plastic is also cheap which is how Amazon can provide it at this price point.

Very nice heater
This heater is amazing at keeping a big open living room about 1000sf nice and toasty we had to turn her down. I kept it on eco friendly for the most part. It has two plug not 3 prongs and has tip over protection. The cord doesn't get hot or my plug at all. The lights are easy to see. The only thing I hate is I can't change the temp on eco friendly mode it's stuck at 85 but blows low heat and shuts off here and there. I would recommend this heater and probably buy another one. There isn't a filter to clean just a metal back so that can be nice or worriesome. The remote doesn't work well and has to be super close to work so mise we'll get up at that point. My son is 4 and has touched all around this heater and it's not hot. The only part that is hot is the front two inches the heat comes out of. It glows orange as well. This was easy to roll on my hardwood floor. It's overall a nice heater it will warm a drafty home like mine huge open home with hard wood floors and huge picture widows and a door that has a huge gap in it and a fireplace that is drafty as well.

Very safe, but prone to being turned on my cats--yes, I said cats
I was really worried that this heater wouldn’t heat my living room. We have an open floor plan, so the living room, dining room, and kitchen are all together. I received the heater the day after buying it, and I set it up right away because it was 65 degrees in the house. Within 30 minutes, my thermostat read 69 degrees. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. The concern I have is that the buttons on the top are very sensitive to being pushed. The top of the unit is a perfect cat-sized perch--so, of course, cats lay on it. The cats are able to turn on the unit, reset the temperature, and turn on eco mode just by sitting or laying on the buttons. Luckily, the unit will shut off if tipped (which is highly unlikely) or if it gets close to overheating. I often hear the buttons being pushed and cats languishing on the heater enjoying the heat. So, we have to unplug the heater when we are not using it.I bought the unit because it is easy to move, has a remote, heats a larger space, and has built-in safety features for pets and kids. All these things are true about the heater. I accidentally put a box in front of the heater and within minutes it turned off. As I said, cats are able to sit on and around the heater without being burned (even while staring directly into the red heater bar.) It is very stable and would be hard to tip over by cats, dogs, or kids. The remote is good, but sometimes you really have to point and aim it to get it to respond.I hope you found this review helpful!

Big heat in a small affordable lightweight package.
These heaters use to cost around $199 and most people thought they were worth that as they heated relatively well and were cheap to operate mostly.Problem was they were mostly throwaway as parts either not available or was cheaper to buy a new one..which is sad that our society build products with a throw away mindset & lifespan.Ultimately these Amazon units are constructed well, priced great at less $90 and heat great in small to medium living areas. The unit has a black colored wood simulated exterior, nice remote control and WORKS as good as units that actually costed $190 initially. I'm sure this is a China made product which I dislike(buy American if possible) but I have noticed that China made product quality has been improving over past couple years. The unit has a small very workable remote, has a built in thermostat that works to keep the room at the temp desired and safety features if it was turned over. Overall price makes this unit great and so far it's been on 24/7 basically for 2 months and has held up well so far and actually keeps a 350sq 1 room insulated efficiency apartment comfortable. It's the main source of heat and so far has worked down to about 20-30 degrees.

Great value! Quiet and powerful at the same time
This little heater is incredible! I've owned 3 of the way more expensive ones, name begins with an E and ends with pure, they are more than double the price and have nothing on this Amazon heater. Before purchasing I read a lot of the reviews here, people saying they don't work very good, I have to disagree. I am totally impressed with cost for performance level. Those negative reviews either got a lemon or else maybe I received a really good one. I have a 2500 sq ft 2 story house and this holds the lower level living and dining area,(about 800ft) at a steady 72 degrees when I ran it alone for a few days to try it out to see what it could do. I have to say, that is incredible performance for something at this price point.I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Heats well, beeping and smell are drawbacks
It's fine.I've used it for 1 day with no other heating running and external temps in the high 40s.Heats a 12x12 sealed room well enough, though I don't believe it's getting the entire room to 70 before shutting down. On 80+ right next to me it'll get warm enough where i can push my sleeves up. It's very easy to move around either by carrying or rolling and fits perfect under a desk. The constant quiet beeping when it's not running heat is too much for me though. It's like a car alarm going off really far away. If you've got headphones or music playing it would get covered up. The plasticy smell is also unpleasant, though it could burn off with more use. I went back to the old fake fireplace space heater I was using for my office since it bothered me less, but I'm keeping this as a backup.
