The size is not really consistent enough to say this item is a serving bowl too small expensive item

Looks like a ceramic dish but being plastic can be used outside for salads etc without it breaking

I was looking for bowls that could be used for salads for outside use at bbq etc and came across these. To be honest, when they arrived they just seemed like hard brittle plastic bowls that were ok but overpriced and I would have given them 3 stars. . We have since used them for just about everything, not just leaf salads They have had things like potato salad, coleslaw coronation chicken, cake mixes, batter mixes even tomato soup. They have been dropped on the floor several times and still look exactly like they did when new there are no cracks through being dropped no scratches and no staining. I now have no hesitation and giving them 5 stars
