Good rack.
Definitely some assembly required but simple enough to put together. It isn't the most secure rack out there - I find there is a risk of it being prone to sliding on the bar a little bit, but for the price it certainly is worth tolerating. I used it over the winter months too and it seems to be holding up well and no signs of rust yet.

WASTE OF MONEY! DANGEROUS!
I used these j bars for the second time yesterday and had to stop on the motorways TWICE because the bars gave way - the police had to assist me with securing the kayak on my car so that I could do it safely. I now have a big dint and scratches on my car as a result. Not happy at all.

Seam like they will be ok
Seam pretty good value for money,they are slightly loose on my existing bars so I have packed them out a little with rubber and gaffa tape, the only problem is I can't use them today as there are two bolts missing from the kit, so one pair and a single fitted but one unable to use, I have notified the company today so we will see, how quickly they respond.

Don’t fit well to roof rack bars
They went together well, but when I try to fit them on my Thule standard square roof rack bars, they didn’t tight up on the roof bars.I packed out with rubber, but still loose, even after tightening up as far they would go.In the end, I turn the bottom part the clamp upside down and tighten up.

Good value
Overall an amazing value for money, installation can be annoying due to the clamp style used. The padding on the bars only lasted one trip to Scotland before it was damaged but for the price i can’t even complain.

Fast delivery
Arrived faster than expected. Not used it yet but OH put them together. One didnt have all the holes in so he had to drill some, it was easier than sending them back.

A product with a manufacturing defect.One of the parts has a manufacturing defect that makes it impossible to assemble.Since there are two sets of holders in the kit, you can compare and see that one is normal and easy to assemble, while the other is different and impossible to assemble. Photos is attached.

Quite impressed with how solid these bars are. Easy to put together and fit to the ladder rack too.
