I have used Tesa yellow masking tape for years and decided to give this gaffer a go. It is excellent. Fairly soft, not too hard to tear - and it tears *cleanly*. Pretty darned sticky, too. Other budget gaffers over the years have usually stuck well but they've never torn cleanly, leading to wastage and frustration. I have a roll of Gorilla but for everyday use this is great and is now my go-to gaffer.*If you want 'pro' grade gaffer, with outstanding stiffness and more strands per cm, then Gorilla may be the one for you. For everyday needs, Tesa is the one.

Repaired a broken downpipe. No further leaks so far.

I had a rather odd use for this product - my child had a verruca which was growing in size and I read that duct tape could be the solution. Cut the duct tape to size, apply and leave it on for 6 days (it it falls off, keep replacing it) remove on the 7th day and then repeat. When removing on the 7th day, use a foot file to file the Verucca as much as possible after a bath when the skin is soft.I bought a cheaper duct tape at first and nothing happened... persistent, I tried this one as a known brand before giving up. It worked - after 2 weeks, the verruca literally disappeared!Obviously I was applying this product on skin so not it’s intended use but it’s strong and durable.

I paid more for this than other gaffa tape because it said it was "Extra Power". To what - sellotape? It was quite easy to tear but wasnt very thick and adhestive didnt seem that strong. I wont buy this brand again.

I bought this in conjunction with some gorilla tape and so far I prefer using this ! it just works better it does not have the thickness of gorilla tape but it does seem to stick better, great for a multitude of uses and at 25 m long it should last a fair while... glad I bought it.
