Ok first of all I like how small it is mounted right where I wanted under the passenger side of the body had to rearrange a few things but worked out great added a bunch of noise dampening rubber washers to the compressor itself and to the brackets I used to mount to the truck and is really quiet it makes noise but itโs due to itโs normal operation my only complaint is that the description is really misleading says itโs 150psi and the pictures say 120psi and alternates throughout scrolling 120psi 150psi 120psi 150psi omg really I donโt know what it is and the gauge itself shows 120psi in the red and the 150psi way into the red I havenโt let the pressure switch shut it off and have been turning it off at 120psi Iโd hate the tank to explode and cause damage to my truck other than the fear of not knowing what the actual psi pressure is Iโd definitely buy this product again for future projectโs might just have to buy a different pressure switch and good to go

Received new compressor
UPDATE: I installed the new compressor. I added rubber isolaters which I ordered on Amazon to take out the vibration between the compressor and the metal mounting point. The hose is a different size than the hose fitting on the train horn. The hose sent was required to hook up to the compressor, but would not connect to the horns since that hose fitting on the horn is significantly smaller. I was able to slip the small horn hose inside the larger compressor hose, problem solved. I hooked everything up and turned on the compressor (I already have a switch in the cab from the previous compressor). I could not hear the compressor run so I went to the compressor and sure enough, it was running. But it was so quiet I thought it was not running properly. I waited and watched the gauge, and the pressure started up in about 20 seconds, going to 125 psi in less than 4 minutes. I timed how long it took for the air to bleed down to the restart psi (90), and it took over 10 minutes, the compressor started back up immediately and was back to 125 psi in less than 30 seconds. To say I am happy with the compressor is an understatement. Larger tank and footings, quiet (but especially quiet with the rubber isolaters), less air bleed and strong response. This compressor is primarily a vehicle tire compressor so the hose may be larger for that reason. Also the compression fitting for the hose is straight up in the photo, but it does swivel 360 degrees.Well after my last review, I was contacted by the seller. They sent me a new compressor which was received today. This time is was packaged with Styrofoam at both ends so the part which was broken when it was packaged last time made the trip undamaged. SO I am happy, very happy, with the customer service. The response to my complaint was quick and the issue resolved quickly. Tomorrow I will install the compressor on the truck and test out my horns. The other compressor which I am replacing made for a loud train horn, but it leaked air like crazy so it had to run every 5-6 minutes to keep the pressure up. I am hoping this one does better. Once installed and tested I will do another review.

Tank, shutoff and gauge are awesome...... Compressor....No
Unit looks great. Dead out of box. Compressor not turning over, its a motor.....I am a motor guy...... Spent an hour trying to get the brushes which one of, was just hanging inside the housing. Not hooked up. Tried a dozen times to hold the brushes while pushing it back together...... Cheap one piece unit. ........... Then.......like a light bulb I thought of a trick I used before....... HA!! WORKED!!! Fine since...... I rated 3 stars because the tank and accessories are good

Motor hangs up
It started the first time on its own. After 2 days I have to wack it with a wrench to get it to start. I took it apart after confirming 12v to the motor, to eliminate the pressure switch to be bad. I have continuity across the connection at the brushes so it's something with the motor. The seller was supposed to refund me and I haven't gotten it. Waiting to see if they refund me or send a new one.

Didn't last 6 months
Bought 29th of July. Mounted on rubber isolators inside dedicated tool box. Didn't run it all the time, I don't always use the truck. It's now 8 months later and the motor just spins, and it doesn't make any air. Haven't pulled it off the truck to see why. It was cheap... yes. But it didn't last 6 months. All it was doing was filling two air bags on the truck.

it works
Took forever and the cylinder head screws keep coming loose letting the air out. Maybe some locktight threadlocker ?
