Does the job on Windows
Bought this as a gamepad for my PC for the odd games that are better played this way. This controller was bought specifically to play Jedi Fallen Order and this review applies to that game with 20 hours playtime. The D-Pad at points was not responsive or delayed. for example pressing up on the d-pad sometimes require 2 presses to register correctly. There is a quiet but high pitch squeel that comes from the controller every now and again playing through the game i think it was happening when there was an action that would usually trigger a very low level rumble. So the sound would happen often during gameplay but during cutscenes when rubbles were much more intense it wouldn't happen, i can only assume slight rumbles wern't enough to actuate the mechanism in this controller and it struggled.Other than these 2 issues the rest of the buttons were responsive, including triggers and analog sticks, controller was comfortable to play for longer periods and there was no set-up required, just plugged in the controller booted up the game and it immediately recognised the controller. As mentioned in other reviews for some reason the product is packaged with a card offering a discount for 5 star reviews so take those with a pinch of salt. For the price of the game pad and the frequency i'll be using it makes this a worthwile purchase in my view.I've deducted 1 star due to the 2 points above, the dpad isn't a major component needed for most games but the rumble issue could get annoying i just dont hear it with my headphones on.UPDATE: After owning this device for several months with some light use (less than 40 hours use). The analog sticks have started to become overly sensitive/non responsive. One moment the character will just start running with the slightest touch on the analog stick or the controller wont register the change in direction straight away and keep running forward even when the stick is pushed right. It requires the stick to be reset to the center before another action can be taken. This becomes vary painful in anything that needs quick adjustments.Update 2: After owning this controller for a year and wanting to play some fighting games on my PC (Injustice/Mortal Kombat) this controller really wasn't up to scratch and the buttons were uncomfortable for the amount of button mashing those games need. I ended up purchasing another controller that was about £10 more expensive than this controller and it was like night and day. If you are playing anything that is quite intense and want a controller that will last a few months use I would look elsewhere.

Had drift on one of the sticks
Its good and sturdy, feels solid but on the sticks had drift which made it annoying to use. if you get one without the drift it would be an excellent control. think i was unlucky.

Cheap
If you're looking for a wired Xbox 360 controller replacement, this is not it.Pros:+It works, but just about. I've been using it on PC with no compatibility issues.+The shoulder buttons feel good to press+Same form factor as the 360 controller, so the shape is good+Not too light, not too heavyCons-All of the face buttons feel very mushy. This is immediately noticeable and you need to press them in a surprisingly long way to get the input recognised. As a result playing games with this controller often feels very unresponsive.-The D-pad is somehow even worse than the official 360's controller. It has the same issues as the face buttons already stated, and with the controller I received, down on the d-pad only seems to work reliably about half the time.-The control sticks are fine in principle, but with the build quality and with previous experience of these types of controllers in the past, these will be the first to break. You can feel the poor quality of the materials as the sticks move against the plastic face shell of the controller, and it gives a noticeably unpleasant sensation while moving them.-Wire is a little shorter than the official 360 pads I've had before, but not by much admittedly.ConclusionNot awful value for money, as it is a working controller for very cheap. Get this controller if you aren't going to use it very much, for example if you need an extra one very rarely if friends have come over or as a back-up.You are much better off buying something more expensive, as is always the case with controllers. They are your connection to the gameplay and they have to feel good, this one does not feel good.

A Sensitive Matter
For the price it's a great replacement if you don't want to shell out for an official xbox controller "OXC", it is lighter then the OXC and the buttons and triggers feel great, the triggers are pressure sensative, in driving/racing games this means you can apply acceleration and braking as soft or as hard as you like, however, me being a serious gamer I tried to cheap out hoping that this would have the same high quality pressure sensative analogue sticks "sometimes called thumb sticks" as the OXC, it doesn't, unfortunately when you apply small pressure to the analogue stick nothing will happen, that's even after reducing the dead zone to practically nothing, when the analogue stick recognises pressure it apples the maximum movement in that direction, meaning its all or nothing and you cannot make small soft movements, this is not a problem for most games it only becomes apparent if you're trying to make a soft turn in driving/racing games, or if you're free aiming for a headshot, if this is you then I would recommend you only purchase a controller from a company you've already had satisfaction from. If you're buying this for a child or a casual gamer then I highly recommend this controller over the OXC, the length of the controller cord is pretty long and seems to be of good quality.

Best of the Budget Controllers - 1 Annoyance
The left trigger for mine is a bit too easy to pull back. It works fine, sure, but the right trigger has more bounce which gives me a kind of odd feeling when I'm using it - as if the button is on its way out, but so far so good. The main thing really is the analogue sticks. I usually buy these 360 impersonators at around the £16 mark, so at £10 I was desperate and tired of wasting money on things that don't work right. The previous one I bought (different seller etc) had an annoying dead zone on the right analogue. This controller however works really well, and I'm currently playing Halo Infinite with it with no complaints.Certainly worth the buy.

Good budget option with a flaw
UPDATE! The second one I got in 2020 broke, it lasted 18 months. This time a piece of plastic holding the trigger broke. Once again, I'll look for alternatives, if I can't find anything better, I'll probably end up buying the same. It's the almost perfect budget Xbox controller. Does the job perfectly despite the low price: ergonomic, good buttons, ticks all the boxes. And then, after some months of gaming the stick starts drifting. And it drifts really bad. And then I thought, I'll fix the problem that is caused by the buildup of dust and dirt under the stick, take it apart, give it a clean put it back together. So I did that. When I opened it, one of the cables broke right away, then I struggled putting it back together, so the controlled landed in the bin. I looked on Amazon again for a better option, official MS controller or something cheaper and I ended up buying this one again. And in another 6 months time, if needed, I'll probably buy the next. It's a pretty decent controller if you bear in mind the fact that it tends to start drifting soon and you'll end up buying the next one.

A dissapointing performance and is now unusable after ~60 hours of use
Tested on PC on various games over roughly 60 hoursWhile first impressions filled me with the nostalgia of playing on my old 360 console, I became more and more frustrated every day I used it. While it functions almost identically to the original 360 controller it lacks some of the precision and tactile quality I remembered. The analogue sticks only move in 8 directions, making precision aiming and movement more difficult and awkward. This is okay though if you plan to only play single player 3rd person games that don't generally require precise aiming, but if you find yourself playing competitive shooters or 1st person games often you will certainly notice the limitations with this controller. I would reccomend sticking with mouse and keyboard if those games interest you more. Within the first week of use the sticks began to drift in one direction, making camera movement and menu navigation somewhat difficult, but I was able to reduce the effect by adjusting the input deadzones on steam. For a while I tolerated the occasional sudden pull in a direction, but as I am writing this the pull is now constant and it cannot be corrected because moving the right stick left doesn't register anymore. Therefore it has become almost entirely unuseable. The other features like the front bumpers and triggers feel very clicky and they have the sound to match. In some instances I noticed that they didn't work but this was very rare, but I should still mention it. The d-pad also feels imprecise, with the left side almost not working at all even when I first used it.One positive though was that it was very easy to connect and set up as my PC immediately recognised it as an Xbox 360 controller. If you play games quite often and want a reliable, tactile and durable controller, this is not it and I would not reccomend getting it. I would just get an official controller that (while more expensive) will most likely give you a much better long term gaming experience. If you only play games occasionally then this controller may be enough for you.

Good cheap controller
Wanted some cheap controllers for PC use, do the trick nicely. Not sure on latency but fine for playing platformers

Not great for fps games
This controller is being used as a handicap for split screen shooters. If you’re playing against the kids then this will drive you nuts at how inaccurate the thumb sticks are… there’s a bit of a delay and it’s impossible to make tiny moves for sniping. But - it definitely made it easier for the kids to beat me at times. If that’s not what you’re after then just avoid.

Joystick Drift
Unfortunately the right thumbstick has begun to drift upwards at the slightest touch, making most first or third person games unplayable. This occurred after three days of use after playing Monster Hunter Rise.I have since returned them and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy these with the intention of them being a serious and long term solution. Fortunately Amazons return policy means I can return these with no fuss, so if you decide to purchase this product and it ends up being faulty, do take full advantage of the returns system (assuming it is within the policy limitations)

Cheap and tacky
Not really what I weanted, I wanted an official Microsoft controller but they were like hen's teeth. So I bought this one and to be honest it was cheaper tham a Microsoft one and you can tell. First problem is the cable isn't very long, then there is a lack of reaction to button presses (sometimes.) The wholr thing feels cheap and plasticy which of course it it but somehow th M$ one didn't. So on the whole I woud say you get what you pay for, if you can find an official one then it's worth paying the extra (but I could only find used ones on eBay and they were probably coming to the end of their lives like the one I was replacing with this.) I can't honestly recomend this but if needs must it at least does work most of the time.

Star rating is limited, more 3.5
It's mainly pretty good. Fine for the money, not feeling ripped off.I find the d-pad a bit lacking, but it connects flawlessly & the buttons/analogue sticks are fine.I'm using to play older games on Steam which don't support modern controllers. For some reason I can't make the converters work to use a modern pad.Real rating would be 3.5, but .5's aren't available here ;) (A strong 3.5, closer to a 4, but I don't want to overrate!)Certainly worth what they're asking for it, but not more.Bottom line, neither disappointed nor blown away. Buy if you need one, but it's no upgrade.

Cheap alternative, works with pandora 3d system
Cable was a bit bent, so sent it back, quality is OK. But you pay for what you get.I would have kept it if not for the bent cable.
