I was able to fix my fave lunch bag! The silver zipper broke & I was able to replace a new, working zipper with easy instructions. I am a visual person. I am glad the instructions came with pics & demos. It took me about 25min. The zipper stoppers didn't hold well on the lunch bag. I sew it on each end to keep the zipper in place. Nice kit with lots of spare parts. Makes it easy to choose what you need to fix the broken zipper on your favorite hoodie. Could use a tool to crimp. I don’t like that the reversible style zipper head I needed is noisy and rattles, but I am glad I was able to fix the zipper. Good value for the money.

I wanted to install a 2nd zipper on special backpack I purchased and immediately found the correct zipper to use within this variety pack. I knew the size roughly but didnt want to keep buying a few had a time hoping one would fit as Im no taylor. This pack has all the zippers and hardware you could need.

The tool is cheap and does not cut as the jaws have gaps. The zippers appear to be fine.

After a number of years, the zipper slide on my favorite hooded sweatshirt broke. This is a quilted, heavy duty Craftsman sweatshirt that's quite warm and no longer available. Good quilted sweatshirts are quite pricey these days.Anyway, I couldn't zipper it up and was reluctant to get rid of it. So I searched on Amazon regarding zippers and saw this listing. It had a large number of reviews and most were rated quite highly. I read the negative reviews first to see what troubles people had with the product. Most of the negative reviews indicated that the slides didn't work for their applications. On the other hand, the positive reviews seem to indicate that the slides worked well. So I decided to give this a shot. With Amazon Prime, I could always return the package if things didn't work out.It was quite easy to install the new slide. The whole repair operation took maybe 15-20 minutes. If I had to do it again, it would be half that time. The provided instructions were quite good. The only issue I had was finding the correct slide to use. I tired a few different ones that I thought would work, but they were too tight and didn't close the zipper correctly. Finally on the third try I found the right one (#5). It worked perfectly. My sweatshirt zippers closed again. I'm quite pleased.

It had a lot of useful items, that were helpful, but not everything that I needed. There were no zipper slides that open and can be closed into place.The kit has plenty to work with and will be useful.
