Bundt Classics Cookbook Spiral-bound – March 1, 2003

My copy was originally a wedding gift with a lovely inscription over a decade ago. It was never cooked with, it's that pristine.It was an excellent choice of a recipe book gift: it has recipes that start with cake mixes (which I loathe, but for a newby cook, it could get him or her started), it also has a good assortment of totally from scratch recipes.And it now gives me a place to organize the recipes that came with my many pieces of Nordic ware.

I love cookbooks and I have a modest collection but in order for me to keep them there has to be something that makes them different, unusual and interesting. I found this book accidentally as I was scrolling down the page for a new bundt pan I was buying. I clicked on it and started seeing the most beautiful cake made from a bundt pan! I was browsing a synopsis of the books content and made the decision to buy the book used. For $0.99 and $4.96 shipping, a few days of waiting later, my "new" book arrived. I sat down with a cup of coffee and began reading this book. The book was in excellent condition and well worth the ludicrous shipping fee. Anyway, it gave me some great ideas to make certain recipes I already make better. I'm very happy with my book and it's a keeper!

This is an older book. Copyright 2003. I only mention the date since some of the cake mixes used in many of the recipes calls for a cake mix with a box net weight of 18.25oz. Most of the manufacturers lowered the net weight to 15.25oz (go figure) a number of years back. I have tried many of the recipes with store purchased 15.25oz cake mixes. They came out just fine. This book has dozens of different cake/bread recipes. A great book with lots of variety. There are color photos, but it would have been nice to have more.

Thus book was better than I expected. I bought it because of the low price. I've got a decent assortment of Nordicware pans, and thought with would be a nice addition to my cookbook collection. I've used several recipes; and, pleased to report that I haven't put this book on the shelf in my library yet. It stays in the kitchen so I can grab it for reference often. The photography is excellent and the instructions are easy to follow. If this book is being offered for a reasonable price, I recommend grabbing it. I've attached a photo of one of my favorite projects. It's a lemon pound cake with lemon glaze.

I haven't done a single recipe out of this book yet, simply because there aren't many that sound good to me. Only one section of the book is cakes. There's a section just for glazes, which I don't really care for. There's also a section for other foods like breads. I was really looking for a book just filled with bundt cake recipes that had a bit more variety so I was disappointed. But at least it was cheap. I'm back to finding recipes on the internet, though I prefer actual cookbooks.

Not enough pictures. I like to know what I'm working toward. It hasn't enticed me to try any of the recipes.

Good book with a lot of recipes; however many require cake mixes or similar prepared packaged mixes that I don't use.

Can't wait to heal after broken bone/fix it surgery so I can take advantage of some of the recipes////have about a dozen recipes tagged to start wth!

Ce n'est pas le livre que vous allez recevoir...mais un autre de Nordic Ware...sur des petits gâteauz....donc si vous l'achetez pour avoir des recettes comme moi pour les moules Nordic ware que j'utilise, vous allez être décu.....en plus si vous l'achetez de nouveau a une autre entreprise qui en reálité doit être la même....vous allez être doublement déçu...amazon devrait surveiller que se sont les mêmes boutiques avec des noms différents.....et que la foto ne correspond pas au produit....

c'est une bonne affaire avec un très bon livre d'occasion , le prix est très intéressant sachant que lesproduits provenant des USA ont des frais de douanes et postaux qui sont exorbitants.En ce qui concerne le contenu, c'est une affaire de gout, j'aime car j'ai les moules Nordic Warequi vont avec ce livre.
