Worth it
I don’t use them for climbing. I use them with ropes to secure our farm animals. These clips are very strong and durable. Totally worth the money.

I have both these and the smaller ones that are screw gate. I do tree work so I've used those for MANY things. From holding stuff down in my truck when I couldn't find a strap, zip lines, I've even used it to rig off & as my chain saw clip. They're good so I had to buy the bigger ones. I've never had a problem with the other ones breaking at all. & I've zip lined some big pieces so I have comfort in the brand.
