I think everyone, regardless of trade or career, must study ethics and philosophy to some extent. This book is a necessity for anyone just starting their spiritual journey and asking the bigger questions on morals, principals, and ethics. Society needs to delve deeply into these areas to shape a better reality for us all. To explore the whys of good and bad behavior, we will discover many illuminating realizations. I highly recommend this book!

Great book to start pulling arguments and thoughts from. The concepts and perspectives were easy to follow.

I got this for a family member who is interested in studying philosophy, but had difficulty following my notes and books from college.

Challenging. Had no educational opportunity to to take this subject in school. I find the subject intriguing. It’s a great conversation starter with like-minded folks.

I'm half way thru this - having only got it last week! It is very well written - clear, concise with succinct definitions of major movements in Ethics. A joy to read - heartily recommend it - one of the best on the subjects I have read.

Covers Western thought on ethics, would have been good if Eastern thoughts from India, China and Japan were also included.

This was bought for a student of Ethics and she says that it is very interesting. Delivery was excellent.
